The location of the hotel is good. It's in the center of Macau island and close to everything. The decor is kind of outdated but overall is acceptable.

Highly recommend to any visitor to Macau wishing to explore the colonial charm and old legacies in this tiny former Portuguese colony. Plenty of local delicacies around the area and very walkable to the Senado Square area and St Paul's ruins. Ferry terminal to Hong Kong and several very charming cathedrals and seminaries around as well. Staff was friendly and good dinning options in the hotel as well!

Enjoyable stay! Happy with efficient check in by Audrey. Nice room size, gym and pool, restaurant choices are all exceed our expectations. Thank you to all the staff. Will definitely come back!

We found torn towels on the floor in the bath tub. Very disappointed. Hotel should have offered a free stay at this point however seems like the manager in charge had very limited power to do anything except offer us free cookies.

I've been traveling in Asia the past year and the Hotel Royal Macau is one of the best hotels I've stayed at. The two restaurants were amazing, the front desk and all the staff are professional and courteous. When I return to Macau this is where I will always stay. Thank you for a wonderful welcome and for making my short stay in Macuo amazing.

Very nice room, clean and comfortable. Staffs are very nice, friendly and helpful. The free shuttle bus runs between Border Gate and the Hotel, or Macau Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal and the Hotel. The Hotel is near the Ruínas da Antiga Catedral de São Paulo, Macau Rose Hall, the Lisboa, etc. It just takes around 15 minutes by walking to there.

Great experiencing staying at this property. Staff was great, rooms were clean and accessible to many part of Macau. If you’re into the history of Macau, this property is well located to many sites and you can still access the casinos if that’s your thing.

Hotel was very nice. Staff are friendly. The pool is private, less people in the evening but might get busy during the day. There are change rooms available for women and men. The gym has reasonable weights and machines available. Breakfast buffet had variety of foods available but some foods were alittle cold. Overall the room and bathroom was clean. It's about 5 mintues walk to bus stops. And 15-20 mintues from Ruins of St. Paul's. I'd stay again if I was in the area.

What I like this hotel most is the location. It is easy to walk everywhere. Only ten minute walk to Ruins of St. Paul, Fortress and colonial Municipality Government. There are tons of small restaurants around.
