My only complaint about this resort is that the food was sub-standard. But after traveling around in the middle east I realized that it is like that everywhere. So nothing really to do with the resort.

The location of the hotel is beautifully situated on the Nile, with extensive views and places to sit and enjoy the sites. The staff are amazing and the hotel itself very clean with excellent amenities! The restaurant for dinner was absolutely wonderful, with some of the very best sea bass dinners I have ever had! We booked all of our excursions through the hotel - Zein and Asmaa were amazing - including the hot air balloon (which is a must do) and multiple other day trips. Our guide (Ehab) and driver were amazing! The staff was also super attentive (shout out to Maro and Mody) and do yourself a HUGE favor and book a massage at the spa. The ladies there were absolutely amazing!! Last but not least - stop by and say hi to Nermin at the omelette station, who patiently and professionally served everyone as fast as she could. DO NOT HESITATE TO STAY HERE! We will be back!

The area around the hotel is not that pretty but that’s normal in Egypt so don’t expect any different at any other hotel. I had a really good experience, the breakfast is great, with many dishes at the buffet. The spa is beautiful, is like a whole different hotel where you can book a suite that includes spa treatments. The only thing I feel could be improved is the rooms, they look a little outdated specially the carpets.

Nice resort right by the Nile. We loved the view and the property grounds, the spa facilities were great (steam room, sauna, salt room, heated pools). As the only negative, the staff were a bit hit or miss: some were attentive and friendly, some others did not really pay attention to guests.

One of the best resorts I’ve been to world wide! While the hotel is world class with all the amenities and the cleanliness. The main reason is the hospitality and kindness the staff showed us. A special thank you to Marianna and Rahma and the staff in the cafe, and Shereen in reception for going above and beyond, that made our stay very special. You definitely need to try Fateer House!

Ready for new carpets and refurb. Breakfast selection poor along with poor selection of in the restaurants. Check before you buy at the bar as $125 for 4 simple G&T's is ridiculous. Also check you bill when checking out as we were charged for an extra night we'd paid for online. Overall the service staff are great, friendly and efficient but I'd suggest some investment training the cooks to 5 star standards. Hilton you are slacking!

Front desk staff were nice, well spoken and offer recommendations about transportation. Dinning experience was ok, staff was slow in responding. Food was great, am allergic to pistachios and chef was able to tell me what I can and cannot eat, it was buffet style. Used the gym and it was well maintained.

Do not stay here
This is definitely not a 5 star hotel. The exterior is pretty but the rooms are very old, have stained carpets, and uncomfortable beds. The service at the pool is very slow and many of the waiters made rude remarks. We would not recommend this hotel and it is not a typical Hilton standard.

Hilton Luxor was so nice and the Suite Room we stayed was gorgeous and spacey. The sunset over the Nile River was unforgettable. We had every breakfast and dinner options at the buffet restaurant inside which had enough selections and good enough. I would recommend here for everybody even with relatively higher prices. We initially ate exclusively at the Nile Hilton in Luxor upon our arrival at their on site restaurants and poolside bar service ,the result , food poisoning , poor pool service in general with minimal guests on site, empty hand sanitizers , while trying to recover from food poisoning brought on by lack of hotel cleanliness, we endured ongoing harassing room calls from the hotels front desk inquiring how we were doing? Causing us to disconnect the three room phones in an attempt to get some sleep and trying to recover, all the time with a “do not disturb “sign on our door, our only alternative was to have safe food delivered from off site restaurants ,to try to eat before we departed , luckily we had brought antibiotics on our trip to Egypt, without them I would have probably needed hospitalization, the best part of this trip was departing this place! Never to return, I would not come back if they paid me! Upon arrival we Paid extra for a upgraded room with balcony , wow , what a rip off !No elevator in this “upgraded area “ haul yourself & your luggage up the stairs.If I wasn’t so ill I would have left earlier , Hilton should invest in training staff in service & personnel hygiene in hopes of lessening the chances of getting other guests sick.

Hilton Luxor experience
Location of the hotel is amaizing and the staff was friendly overall. First experience at the restaurant not so well but after we provided the feedback all changed to better. Food was ok but expensive compared with outside restaurants. Even that I have status with Hhonors we got the last room at the last building of the hotel, not sure if because was booked thru Hotels.com.
