This is a very stylish place to stay. Staff was very welcoming. I was underwhelmed by the food in Egypt, but really enjoyed eating here. Pool was nice. Grounds of the hotel are relaxing. There are some cute and friendly cats around. I slept great here. It was honestly the perfectly place to rest and recharge after being exhausted on my Nile Cruise.

We had a very bad experience at this hotel, because of the staff. Our concierge was absolutely unhelpful and instead was constantly trying to scam us. He refused to even tell us how far the ferry was which we found out later was only a 7min walk from the hotel. He did not give me directions to a restaurant I wanted to go to but instead tried to sell some homestyle place and when I wasn't buying it he still didn't give us the directions. The wifi was conveniently not working so we weren't able to look things up. This was when we were really tired from our Nile cruise and just wanted to get a meal and plan out our evening. He also tried to convince us that we needed to take expensive taxi to the East bank instead of the ferry that I knew was close by... he also told us that it was $80 per person to go to the Valley of the Queens which we ended up doing by ourselves by just hiring a driver and car. What was the worst part is that he started talking to my friend while she was sitting by herself in the courtyard, and when I joined he asked me 'Whats happening with the situation in India?' and I said there is no 'situation' in India. So he says so what I am reading on the internet is false and I said yes, it is fake news. This seemed to make him angry. I genuinely was trying to inform him of all the development and peace work taking place in India and he suddenly changed the topic and then walked away. I felt quit unsafe at this point and that anyone could harm me anytime.

Hôtel acceptable mais dans un quartier pauvre et avec beaucoup d’animaux. Donc beaucoup de bruits d’animaux en permanence. Sinon j’ai aimer que l’hôtel soit style égyptien, c’est très beau et particulier. Nourriture acceptable, propreté acceptable. Louxor n’a pas été ma ville préféré car très pauvre et sale.

The staff here were kind and helpful, but the hotel is nothing to write home about. Wifi is basically non-existant. The breakfast wasn't very good, stuff was constantly out, we watched one of the kids working there sneeze all over the food, and we found a hair in our food. The pool is absolutely disgusting and unswimmable. Overall it was a typical stay in Luxor, good staff, the building looks nice, all the locals around are friendly, but the hotel is just passable as okay.

We had an amazing stay in this hotel and liked the facilities very much. Clean rooms, good beds. Also the staff members are very friendly en helpful. short walk to the banks of the Nile and the ferry. - Many poor people live in the area around the hotel, as a result of this poverty everyone, also kids, outside thinks you are a walking wallet...which at a certain point is annoying.

"Embrace Is The Place", to stay in Luxor, Egypt.
We were very impressed by initial view of Embrace and with the excellent service by the staff "Marwan especially" who was always there for help and just conversation which was very impressive. Not taking anything away from the other staff which were also very cordial and helpful. My wife and I give Embrace an score of 11 over and beyond a 10. I would recommend Embrace to all my friends. Also the tour driver "Adam" was very helpful and knowledgable about anything we wanted to know. "EMBRACE IS THE PLACE".

Beautiful setting. Relaxing. Pretty landscaping. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. My big problem was that the room was dark, with dim lighting. No way I could read anything. Even during the day I had to open door to hall to let in light to unpack.

Beautiful property like an oasis. A lil loud until about 9pm. A lil cold in the winter months. Heater was given but ineffective. No blowdryer, iron or smart tv etc. Wifi was inconsistent. Breakfast was basic. Preferred to eat outside. But great property and room. Would return. Male staff was trying to seduce me but I wasnt falling for it.

Embrace was a wonderful place to stay... quiet, comfortable, clean and spacious from the rooms to the property... We were amazed at the beauty of the architecture and layout of the building and property... Heidi and i really enjoyed our amazing massages which we highly recommend from the intuitively skilled massage therapist on site... The only set back was the lack of hot water if you tried to shower early morning or late at night because the hot water system, though eco friendly, only worked when the sun was shining.. But overall we had an amazing stay at the hotel.. Thank you to the amazing staff that was always there to fullfill all of our needs...

Lovely Guest House
Lovely guest house on the West Bank. Safe and quiet area. Short and easy walk and ferry to East Bank. Great location for Valley of Kings etc. Highly recommended.

Very friendly Egyptian style hotel - garden and pool area very clean and shady. Air con in room worked well. We got taxi from airport for 150 Egyptian pounds then the ferry across the Nile which is still only 5LE each then walked up the road to the hotel. Felt very safe and friendly although as with all of Luxor you have plenty of folk offering lifts etc! Food at the hotel was basic Egyptian food but there was plenty! We did ask for fries for a change on one or two occasions and I think they are happy to accommodate other options. We were fairly confident to organise our own outings and barter with the locals but the staff would have been happy to help. The hot air balloon ride was a definite highlight- we paid £30 each. We had a wonderful stay at hotel embrace and enjoyed travelling up and down to see both sides of the city, with lots of ferry or motorboat trips across the Nile (20-30LE) - something we wouldn’t have had if we had stayed in a more western style hotel on the east bank

The staff is really nice. Mrwan is one the owner’s son even took us to tour the little town. The hotel looks amazing. 5 stars for sure. The WiFi needs to be improved Indians the hotel. Hope the breakfast can be differed. I will definitely come back again if I tour the city.

This was the most amazing stay at a hotel I have ever had. The best part of our stay was the level of service provided by the staff. My wife and I made a friend out of Kareem. He is a humble, intelligent, proffessional, and seeking to give his guests the best Luxor experience. Stay at the Embrace Hotel for your stay in the West bank in Luxor if you want peace, quiet, great food, and experience a bit of Luxor like a local. Kareem and Achmed will give you all the information you need. You need a boat ride?You need a mid night taxi? How about some Kosheri for dinner? No problem. You will get the VIP treatment and not get ripped off. The design of the hotel is unique; High dome/cave like ceilings, pool, mosque, breakfast yard, nice modern restroom and shower. Thank you Kareem! You are a friend in our hearts.

We were more than pleased with our hotel choice while in Luxor - West bank. When in Luxor, you can choose between the East and West banks - the East bank is the busy city life, while the West bank is the peaceful, quiet country life. Karim and Hassan were great hosts and made our stay very enjoyable. We had breakfast in the garden, dinner on the rooftop and went on a motorcycle ride through Luxor at night. It was magical to see the valley of the kings at night, and have tea on the Nile with Hassan. This hotel is amazing, it exceeded our expectations, and the people working there made it amazing. The gardener brought us fresh cut roses into the room! We will most certainly return to Egypt and Luxor, and stay at this hotel again.

Les points positifs : En arrivant on remarque que l'hôtel est neuf et charmant; le personnel souriant. On nous explique également que l'eau est chauffée avec des panneaux solaires. Nous découvrons un superbe jardin : tout commençait bien. Le petit déjeuner est excellent et tout le personnel très gentil. Le rooftop est agréable pour admirer le coucher du soleil ou même les montgolfières au lever du soleil. L'hôtel est placé dans une rue calme et proche des sites de la rive ouest. Les points négatifs : le matelas que nous avions était mediocre; impossible de dormir tellement qu'il était dur et creusé. Nous avons donc demandé à changer de chambre après la première nuit. Dans la nouvelle chambre les lits étaient mieux mais nous n'avons pas eu d'eau chaude. La wifi est très limitée dans les parties communes et ne fonctionne pas dans les chambres ; dommage nous avons été globalement déçu des équipements de cet hotel.

No hotel services. It is like a guest house.
There is not a single staff wearing a hotel uniform like the photo on the official website. I booked 2 nights with half board, but when I checked in I was told that my reservation was not half board. As a result of instructing them to confirm, they finally realized that it was with half board. I was asked what time I wanted dinner, so I asked for it at 18:00, but the restaurant didn't know. It was not communicated during my stay. Room was not cleaned during my stay. There was no exchange of towels. The room was nice with a domed ceiling, but one of the lights was out. There was only one hanger. The toilet is a type that doesn't flush paper, it doesn't matter, but the manual shower built into the toilet bowl for cleaning the butt didn't come out even if the valve was fully opened. Shower booth drainage was remarkably bad, and shower became puddle in no time. Unlike the photo on the official website, the water in the pool is dark green and you cannot see the bottom of the pool. I went to the restaurant counter and bought a bottle of mineral water and a bottle of cola and brought them back to my room to drink. When I checked out, I was told that the tip was not included at the reception. They charge a tip just to take a bottle of mineral water and a coke out of the fridge and put it on the counter on the side. When I refused, the receptionist asked me if I had a tip. I think this place is more like a guest house than a hotel.

This hotel is one of the best look hotel ive stayed, it’s a mini palace and a sanctuary, the staff are friendly and easy going, especially Marwan is the number one staff to take care of things for us. The Wi-Fi in hotel is not really working, that’s the only thing We are less satisfied.

Very charming and typical - amazing staff with outstanding service. Perfect location for who doesnt want to chaos of Luxor and a true experience, rented bikes with the ever helpful concierge Amar and biked safely to all of the major sites. Such a great location for this. Quick boat ride to Luxor temple. Food in the area is OUTSTANDING. Wolf Restaurant is a must for dinner when all the tourist from the cruises leave. Safe area and wonderful people. Call Embrace ask for Amar he will make your vacation perfection.

attention Mamdou est un filou et nous a souvent pris pour des pigeons 25 euros pour traverser le Nil alors que c'est maxi 2 euros des taxis fournis qui sont pourris et sans sécurité et un jour et une nuit sur un bateau sur lequel nous devions être seuls et nous avons vu débarquer une tribu d'américains avec des tas d'enfants bruyants qui nous ont gâches toute la croisière tres decus par tout ça et nous ne conseillons pas du tout cet endroit a cause de ce comportement malhonnête nous avons fait confiance , nous n'aurions pas du dommage

Mooi hotel op het rustige west bank van Luxor. Oase van rust in een afgelegen deel van de stad. Heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel die ons erg goed geholpen heeft maar af en toe ook iets te veel aanwezig was. Dat had ook te maken dat wij precies er waren toen het net wat rustiger was in het hotel. Hele leuke kittens, mooi zwembad en heel mooi duurzaam gebouw en faciliteiten. Ook waren we erg tevreden met het vervoer en de tours die we hebben geregeld via het hotel. Eten was ook prima voor deze klasse van hotel.
