We had a great visit to the Mendoza area and it was facilitated by the great staff. They went above and beyond in ensuring we visited the best wineries, had good transport, and a comfortable place to stay. You can find something fancier but you won’t get the service that Mauricio and Augustin provided.

We had a wonderful stay at Luyan Cuyo B&B. The friendly and attentive staff really made the stay superb. The day I made the reservation I was contacted by Agustin to see if I had any questions or needed recommendations for activities. He remained in contact until we arrived and was able to recommend and book some wonderful activities for us to do. The meal we ate cooked by Claudia was delicious, her empanadas were the best we have had in Argentina!! All in all I would highly recommend staying at the Luyan Cuyo B&B.

Excellent Hotel With an Even Better Staff!
I could not recommend this hotel enough! The staff was incredibly helpful in helping us get the most out of our trip. Without having made reservations for wineries before coming into town, the staff was able to find us bookings last minute and helped us get into La Azul for lunch, which happened to be our favorite winery experience in all of Argentina. The hotel was really nice. We had some issues with the air conditioning unit making noise, but the staff promptly brought in someone to fix it. The hotel room was spacious and clean. My girlfriend and I loved this place!

Perfect Stay
We had a wonderful stay at the Lujan de Cuyo B&B. It was perfectly located, close to many wineries in the area. The grounds were immaculate and the perfect retreat after a long day of wine tasting. The rooms were spacious and very clean. But above all, the staff at this B&B is second to none. The attention and care we received during our stay rivaled that of any 5 star hotel. The owner personally helped us resolve so many issues with transportation and local currency. He took the time to explain the different vineyards and wine regions nearby so we could decide where to go. They helped us make lunch and tasting reservations every day. Mauricio and Agustin were always ready to help answer questions and secure transportation. The communal dinners out on the patio every night offered the perfect ending to the day... mostly because Claudia is one of the most talented chefs I've ever met... and the nicest. I can't wait to have the opportunity to stay there again!

There's mor then wine in Mendoza.
It was our first trip to Argentina and the Mendoza wine area. We were warmly welcomed at this friendly home and treated to superior service. After a greating from Pancho the german shepard, we recieved an introduction to the region and it's many offerings. Tours were set for us by our gracious host. He checked up on on to make sure everything was going smoothly. Dinner was served nightly under the stars to make a magical end to adventurous days. Will certainly return here on our next visit. And, yes the plum jam is worth the visit!

Close to the vineyards. Outstanding service.
Have no concerns about staying here. It’s a gem. Very family oriented with a swimming pool, nice breakfast which is included in the price and a wonderful dinner served outside with delicious local wines (fir an extra cost). The owner graciously arranged for taxis and wine tours at two outstanding small boutique wineries. Extremely nice of him. Mendoza is a large city and 40 minutes from the vineyard. Lujan de cuyo is in the heart of it all. We could even walk to a vineyard from this b&b. This was a great discovery. Very lucky to have booked this place since our spanish is not great and it is hard to find your way around otherwise.

The place has everything you need to have a good time in Luján de Cuyo. And also a pool to cool off in summer. The owner attends himself and is always ready to help with everything.

We just returned from an excellent stay at Lujan de Cuyo Bed and Breakfast! The location is prime- right in the heart of Malbec country and in between Mendoza and the Uco Valley. Our room was clean, comfortable, and very up-to-date. I loved the rain shower head in the shower! The breakfasts were fantastic- fresh cooked eggs were always available, as well as pastries, amazing homemade cherry and apricot jam, granola, yogurt, cereal, cheese, light meat, and fruit to name a few! Nacho and his staff were incredibly helpful in helping to plan and book our itineraries, even when asked last minute. They made exceptional winery and Gaucho Ranch recommendations- our visit to Mendoza was completely mind-blowing thanks to them! You can also request dinner outdoors at the b&b under the strung lights. The meals were delicious, and the night time ambience was comfortable, authentic, and magical. Nacho and his staff visited with us as we ate- it was so nice to get to know them, other b&b customers, and also Nacho's friendly dog, Poncho. I HIGHLY recommend staying at this amazing property! Don't pass up this one-of-a kind opportunity!

Relaxing oasis near wineries
We spent a relaxing 3 nights at Luján de Cuyo. The communication with Nacho was wonderful from the start. He helped us plan wine tastings and lunches at 6 different wineries. The rooms were very comfortable with good air conditioning, comfortable beds and well stocked bathrooms. We would not hesitate to stay here again if we return to the area. Highly recommended.

We loved our stay at B&B for our honeymoon! The space is peaceful and relaxing. If you want help, Nacho and Benjamin will go above and beyond to help you plan your time in Lujan. This is the best service I have had at a hotel. We would definitely return.

I cannot review the property as due to an airline strike we were prevented from staying as planned. However, I can say that the proprietor was very responsive and excellent in communicating with us as we experienced our delay. He had already made plans for wine tours in Mendoza that would involve no driving. Sorry we never made it.

Quaint rooms conveniently located to the many local wineries and excursions into the spectacular Andes just to the west. Excellent dinners grilled by the very friendly abd helpful owner, Nacho. When we were there Caroline, a sommelier from France, was on staff at the hotel, making each dinner an exceptioally delicious educational experience.

The host at Luján de Cuyo b&b couldn’t have been more helpful. He gave me an overview of the area and helped me decide which (non-commercial) vineyards to visit as soon as I arrived. He also offered for me to join the other guests for an asado bbq which made me feel very welcome and meant I wasn’t in my own.

Perfect Stay for Winery Tours
We had a wonderful stay at the B&B for our honeymoon. The rooms are cabin-style and cozy on a beautiful piece of property. Nacho, the owner, was very helpful by reserving drivers, winery tours, and lunch which was the highlight of our trip!

Nacho and the whole staff were amazing!They made us feel like family and helped with all of our plans from recommendations to reservations to arranging taxis. Enjoyed many wonderful wineries in this region. Nacho literally gave my husband the coat off his back to tour the Andes as we were not prepared for the climate change! Definitely came in handy for the snow we weren't expecting when we got up there! Perfect place to stay.

Nacho, Jeremy and staff were wonderful. The place is beautiful and quiet and they were incredibly helpful with everything I needed. As a solo female traveler they were helpful to make suggestions and recommendations for my comfort. Nacho kindly created a personalized tour of wineries and olive oil and called to book my spot for everything including a beautiful lunch. He also arranged a tour of the Andes for me. Jeremy was always attentive and available and helped book my transportation around. Would love to go back! Pancho is so sweet! X Thank you for such a wonderful stay in Mendoza wine country!

Nacho, the hotel's owner is an incredible host. He helped us making all taxis, winery our arrangements as well as a trip to the mountains. In the evenings he offered nice dinners prepared by his mom ($20 a piece). The place is one of a kind, with two charming dogs (Pancho accompanied us all around). The only drawback for some maybe a lack of infrastructure around, but it did not bother us particularly. Rooms are spacious and very clean.

Short stay in wine country
We spent only one night enjoying this hotel. Lovely rooms and grounds. As it was New Year’s Day and the city was closed, we spent a full afternoon enjoying relaxing in the hotel grounds. We enjoyed a nice home cooked dinner. Nacho organised a great short tour of the wineries before we needed to go to the airport. Highly recommend.

Lovely place to stay near Mendoza
We had a fantastic 4 days in Mendoza staying with Nacho and his family at Lujan de Cuyo B&B. This is a lovely family home with the B&B accommodation being in chalet type buildings that give a good amount of privacy. Nacho takes a great pride in being very helpful to his guests organising all details of trips to wineries and Andes mountains. Would not hesitate to recommend this property and would certainly stay here again if in the area.

Best possible stay in "Mendoza" (Lujan de Cuyo)
Great place to stay, perfect location for wine tasting and local excursions. Nacho will organize it all! We came here for 5 days without any real firm plans. 30 minutes with Nacho and we were all set! Wine tastings, mountain trips, visit to "old" Mendoza etc etc. It was all just perfect! And his BBQ night is exquisite! Just stay here and enjoy!

Did not really know what to expect arriving to Lujan de Cuyo B&B, just based my decision off reviews. Overall my wife and I were delighted with the place. The rooms were clean and spacious with ensuite nice bathroom and shower. The owner Nacho was extremely helpful setting up tours, arranging taxi's and ensuring that all guests had an enjoyable time. The nightly optional dinner was very good and coupled with nice wines. I am not one to write reviews and travel a lot. But with my limited language skills and Nacho' s help, we had a great time in Mendoza. I highly recommend this place to see the Mendoza area --enjoy the wine, see the Andes and just kick back. I think arriving without a rental cars was great , and taking taxis with Nacho's help was reasonable price. Nacho if you see this --my wife wants the empanada recipe.

As much as it's hard to add anything new to the other voices, may I say that if you are a wine lover and are looking for a base, this is for you. Nacho organized three winery trips and lunch each day. He reserved our lunches and taxis. All were on time and ready for us. We had nothing to do but taste and enjoy. All was arranged via email and ready for us when we arrived from Canada. Do yourself a favour and plan to stay here. It's unlike any other.....and we've tried many!

Stayed 2 nights and loved the peaceful serene setting. Mattias greeted us, talked about the Mendoza area and helped us to get settled after a long plane ride. Nacho cooked us an amazing dinner where we sat outside with other guests and drank wonderful wine, talked and were treated to singing and guitar playing by Mattias. On our last day Nacho arranged for us to eat at a great local restaurant and taxi service to the airport. You can't beat staying at a B&B where the family is so friendly and willing to assist you with anything you need. Muchas Gracias!

Great facilities-breakfast (eggs cooked for you), still or sparkling water available at all times, lovely park-like setting, flowers, trees, big pool, outdoor areas to sit. The dinners were very nice and it was good to mix with others who were staying, although we did think the meals were on the pricey side (more expensive than fancy Buenos Aires restaurants-and options are limited here, there are no cooking facilities and we couldn't find any local restaurants or takeouts within walking distance). Staff were very friendly and helpful, we were even driven to the bus station with our bags to save us walking in the heat! On arrival we were sat down to receive a lot of information, only some of which was relevant to us. Arriving late in the afternoon after a 10-hour journey in 40 degree heat, we'd have liked to be allowed to settle into our room, change etc. first. Also, some information was inconsistent or inaccurate (we were told on one day that there were plenty of vineyards within walking distance and the next day that it might not be possible to walk to any, and we were variously told that the closest bus stop was 500, 1200 and 1500m from the hotel-according to Google Maps it's closer to 2kms!). The air conditioning system was faulty meaning that it clanked and leaked water onto a bed all through our first night-the staff fixed this the next day, but no apology or offer of compensation for our poor night's sleep was made. We still really enjoyed our stay at the B&B!

Great place to stay near Mendoza
My wife and I stayed 3 nights at Lujan de Cuyo B&B and would highly recommend it. The grounds and buildings are clean and well maintained. The staff, Nacho and Mathew, were very helpful in making sure we were comfortable and in planning our wine tasting activities in Mendoza. The dinners that we had here were delicious, especially a traditional Argentina BBQ, and the wine never stopped flowing. The cabana we had was large and comfortable, and quiet as it was farther from the road. We would highly recommend this B&B for travellers who want to be away from the main city of Mendoza but still be close to a lot of wineries in the area.

Excellent stay! Nacho was an amazing host, as he helped set up all of our visitor needs...airport and bus rides, winery visits and dinner at the B and B. Nacho's mother cooked the delicious meals and we were served at a family-size table by the pool, often serenaded by Matthew on guitar, who was another wonderful employee! Dinners also became an opportunity for wine-tasting as well. We met awesome guests from around the world and enjoyed sharing meals, pool time and winery visits too!

Gorgeous family-run B&B in Mendoza wine country
Nacho and his family made us feel welcome and were wonderful hosts. He gave us recommendations on local wineries to visit, including LaGarde which had an incredible 6-course lunch with wine pairings. When the taxi company wasn't picking up the phone, he drove us there himself! The property itself is beautiful, with a lovely little pool and lush green spaces. We opted to have dinner one night at the B&B, which was delicious, included local wines, and a great opportunity to get to know the other guests. Nacho is interested in trying wines from other countries, so we brought him a bottle from the US and he gave us a lovely local wine in return! We had a truly great stay and only wish we had booked more nights...

Our stay at the Lujan de Cuyo B&B was excellent! Nacho was a very accommodating, helpful, and friendly host and he made us feel very much at home during our stay. We didn't have to plan any trips on our own; Nacho and Matthieu were able to contact various wineries nearby and planned an excursion to Uco Valley, too. The grounds of the B&B were beautiful and we enjoyed relaxing in the sun after a day of wine tasting. We also enjoyed the opportunity to get to know some of the other guests staying at at Lujan de Cuyo during the shared dinner that Nacho and Matthieu prepared. Nacho is extremely kind, accommodating, and helpful, and Matthieu prepares an excellent pizza! All things considered, we highly recommend Lujan de Cuyo B&B and hope to have the chance to stay there again!
