Luca was really nice when I arrived and helped me giving the right instructions to navigate around the city. The hotel is located in a nice area, it’s clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The only downside about this hotel is the breakfast: expensive, with little options, the cereal was old, no fresh food, fruits. Disappointed!

Excellent service, friendly staff, clean rooms, in a quieter part of town. Would stay here again if visiting Lugano in the future.

Evening staff less than helpful although morning staff was friendly and helpful. Bedding was old and of poor quality and questionably clean. Towels were more like rags. Location was quite a bit from the center of town but a bus stop was close. Hardly a view of the lake due to over-grown trees and shrubs. I definitely would NOT stay here again.

There’s only a bed and toilet in the room. Nothing else. No cups. In the toilet, packets of shampoo stuffed at the corner like no one care

The room was not cleaned properly, no AC in this hot day, no fridge, very noisy at night because our room on the 3rd floor was actually right on the street level due to the site slope reason, cars passed by all night. And front desk only accept cash not credit card for my city tax, don’t know why

The views are superb! The staff are very approachable and friendly people too! There is a bus stop quite near to the hotel too for the city centre. It is a great place to stay and the food is of a good quality too.

Struttura datata ma ordinata e pulita. Veramente buono il rapporto prezzo/qualità. Accoglienza e servizio ottimi. Ho utilizzato i mezzi pubblici per raggiungere l'hotel, pochi minuti dalla stazione dei treni e fermata a lato dell'ingresso, comodissimo. Ho soggiornato una notte ed ho avuto la fortuna che fosse il giorno di una delle periodiche serate a tema organizzate dallo staff: ottima cena, ispirata alla Sicilia, a base di pesce con vari vini siciliani ben abbinati a ciascuna portata. Notevole anche la performance degli artisti del gruppo Bisound. Ottima musica, balli e tanta allegria! Complimenti a tutto lo staff.

Nicht zu empfehlen.
Fernseher ging nicht, nur Musiksender. Tische auf der Terrasse waren total schmutzig. Essen was viel zu teuer. Das kann man vergessen.

A mon arrivée a 16h, je trouve la répétition fermée. La personne arrive et me dit que c'est à 17h mais sur la réservation c'est noter 16h-22h. On fait le check-in. Je n'ai pas la chambre réservée. Je devais avoir une chambre avec un grand lit et un balcon. On me donne une chambre avec 2 lits et pas de balcon. J'ai dû insister et j'ai finalement eu la bonne chambre. Surprise pas de place de parking il y a des zones payantes attention max 2h. Je n'ai pas reçu le ticket de transport gratuit à l'arrivée j'ai dû le demander par la suite, mais la personne a fait le nécessaire et j'ai reçu par tel. La chambre est jolie avec une petite vue sur le lac. Mais la route est trop bruyante pour laisser la fenêtre ouverte et il n'y a pas de climatisation c'est un peu difficile durant les périodes chaudes du tessin. Autrement l'hôtel est bien placé le bus s'arrête devant et nous emmène en 20min au centre de Lugano. Le sentier des oliviers est accessible a pieds en 10min.

Es ist ein tolles Altbauhaus mit traditionell Italienischer Einrichtung, mit tollem Blick auf den Lago di Lugano. Das einzige was leider etwas störte ist, dass es keine Klimaanlage gab und das sehr viele Ameisen im Zimmer waren.

Wir (Paar) haben das Zimmer am Samstagmittag ohne Auffälligkeiten bezogen. Am Abend (ca. 21Uhr30) stellten wir fest, dass im Doppelbett 2 Latten im Lattenrost vorbestehend herausgesprungen waren. Als Paar konnten wir nicht in dem Doppelbett schlafen. Meine Partnerin musste das einzelne Zusatzbett verwenden. Morgens hatte ich Rückenbeschwerden. Bis spät in die Nacht ist der Verkehrslärm der Durchgangsstrasse zu hören. Die Grösse des Zimmers/Bad und die Einrichtung sonst ist gut.

Das Hotel Ristorante Firenze liegt an einer Straßenecke. Diese Straße ist sehr stark befahren. Von daher ist es bis spät abends und am frühen Morgen sehr laut, was auf dem Zimmer auch zu hören ist. Die Bushaltestelle liegt nur wenige Meter vom Hotel entfernt. Man braucht ca. 15 Minuten bis zur Innenstadt. Das DE-LUXE-Zimmer mit Balkon war einfach nur sehr schlecht. Klein, abgewohnt, winziges Bad mit Dusche, Balkon ebenfalls sehr winzig. Spärlich ausgestattet. Am Bettende konnte man nicht aneinander vorbeigehen, dazu war es zu eng. Das angepriesene Doppelbett für das DE-LUXE-Zimmer mit Balkon war 140 cm breit und hatte nur eine einzige Zudecke für zwei Personen. Die Matratzen waren sehr weich, um nicht zu sagen durchgelegen.

Obwohl wir am Tag vor unserer Anreise per E-Mail gefragt wurden um welche Zeit wir Anreisen war niemand vor Ort und wir mussten bei grosser Hitze mehr als eine Stunde warten. Es hatte auch kein Restaurant oder ähnliches in der Nähe. Das Ganze wirkt ungepflegt und ist nicht sauber. Schimmel im Bad etc. Der Duschkopf war defekt. Das Brot fürs Frühstück wurde am Vorabend aufgelegt, es war trocken und nicht genügend gebacken.

Breve soggiorno all'Hotel Firenze Lugano
Ho trascoso alcuni giorni con la mia Famiglia presso l'Hotel Firenze di Lugano. Il nostro ospite Luca ci ha coccolati come se fossimo di Famiglia. Consiglio di soggiornare presso questa struttura perche risulta centrale e comodo da raggiungere. Inoltre, confrontandola con altre strutture, risulta conveniente con un ottimo rapporto qualitaà prezzo.

I can recommend this hotel. Ive had a cute room with a balcony. The staff is very friendly. The hotel isnt in centre of Lugano, but you can walk there or there is a bus sation right in front of the hotel which drives every 15min. They have a lovely outside seatingarea from where u can see a little bit of the lake. I think the price-performance is very good.
