"It was our 1st time in Aix-en-Provence, and we didn't know what to expect regarding the city and moving around. We searched for a clean place with a kitchenette and parking facilities, so we could drive to different places. This hotel is not centric to the city, as it would take about 10-15 minutes driving by some backroads to get to the center of Aix and then finding a parking garage nearby. Rooms are kind of small. There is not an elevator, so the luggage has to be lifted through the stairs....

Also there is a sign in the room that if you don’t wash the dishes you will be charged per item for the washing up. I found this to be Penny pinching and mean. "Maybe the nicest hotel room we've ever stayed in. It was spacious, well appointed and a wonderfully comfortable bed. The pool is a nice treat after a day of driving and walking. The hotel is a short walk from everything in the heart of the city. Staff are very friendly and helpful, recommended several restaurants and other sights.
