The area around the hotel was safe and convenient. Many restaurants and grocery stores nearby. In the morning and late evenings it was quite loud on the Main Street Sao Bento due to the constant cars driving fast and early construction noises nearby.

Fine for a night or two, water is warm and strong, aircon is working, tv is also good. Two paper cups and a glass in the room. Though coffee machine and the fridge are a bit scary. No water boiler, furniture’s skins are peeling off. Check-in is fast with pre-checkin. Walkable to the city.

Was excellent Only wrong issue. I will contact my credit card on my way back I call Expedia no acción was made Expedia charge the first nigth and we have to paid full payment hotel never revive even Expedia details and my credit card was charge 120’euros on Dic 1 2023

Great location in a safe area and central to restaurants, shops and local transportation. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Nice free breakfast from 7:30-10:30. My room was super clean and I had an amazing view of the city/water. There was construction across the street that was a little noisy at night but obviously that’s not the hotels fault. The elevator was hit or miss with weather it worked or not. Overall I would recommend.

Comfortable room.Close to transportation ,restaurants,stores.Very friendly and helpful staff.Rudy and Shawn(?)at front desk. Couple snaffu.We got to hotel past 11 am and Rudy said room was ready so we were overjoyed only to find out when we got there ,they were doing deep cleaning,so had to go back down and left our luggage with them so we can at least start exploring the area.The other thing,we ordered for a cab to the airport the day before ,however when it was time to leave ,we were told its not on the computer,he called cab and driver was there in few minutes so it was close to our target time to be at the airport,since we're catching an international flight. Also asked about bfast doggie bag since we have to leave the premises early ,Rudy said he will tell his colleague to set up bfast early.Unfortunately everything was set up except there were no bread or rolls which is probably the only thing we can take with us.Other then those events pleasant stay.

The front of house staff were excellent and very helpful, breakfast was plenty-full and good. Our room was very noisy when it came to the traffic from the road just below could do with some double glazing. Would stay here again but ask for a room on a higher floor

The hotel is good for people who visits Lisbon for a couple of nights and only wants to sleep there and enjoy sightseeing of Lisbon through the day. However, the room we’ve been in needs refreshing as it was well used. Dirty walls, the ‚leather’ from bed was peeling off on the head rest, windows were very dirty, the doors in the shower weren’t put on properly etc. The breakfast was good, but there was no kettle in the room so we couldn’t even make a cup of tea in the evenings.

The property is dirty and dated - such as shower doors falling off - headboard all ripped - black mould around the shower and bed sheets with stains. Booked with a bottle of wine and had to ask for it 3 times. Shame as the property is well located and a little bit of TLC and it would be nice.

A modern hotel with good rooms and service.
The hotel is usefully away from the crush and noise of the central area but still within easy reach of the sights. Ample breakfast buffet with hot & cold items. Coffee etc dispenser at all hours in dining area. Noise from street is effectively excluded when windows closed. Individual heating/aircon in room. We went straight to our room after reporting our faulty shower at the front desk and the engineer was waiting when we got there. Repair carried out the same day. 100m away, Rato is a busy focal point with many eating options. We enjoyed excellent bakery products several times at Pasteleria 1800 on a corner of the square. It also serves hot lunches. Just round the same corner is a stop for tram 24E which ends at the 28E route in town and also passes the Gloria funicular.

A good hotel near the metro
The hotel was really great. The bed was confortable. The room was a little bit tiny and i'm not a fan of the bathroom window wall. The breakfast was good. Overall, I had a good stay. The neighboorhood is interesting. It's near a metro station and you have a easy access to the Praca Da Comercio via that station. I loved that easy access to the metro station. The price for the room was cheap at the time of our stay.

Good little hotel with metro station near
The hotel was really great. They were able to check me in before 3 pm, which is something I appreciate a lot. The room was spacious and the bed confortable. I'm not a fan of the bathroom window wall and the shower in our room was broken at the time of our stay. The breakfast was good. I had a good stay. The neighboorhood is interesting. It's near a metro station and you have a easy access to the Praca Da Comercio via that station. I loved that easy access to the metro station. The price for the room was cheap at the time of our stay.

The room was very nice, clean, modern and nice attention to detail, the hotel and internet were top notch only. I was one block above the street, the noaie from the street was fine for me but may be noisy for sound sensitive people. There is a parking lot across the street which is free on the weekend, street parking appears very limited. Walkability is limited but Uber and taxi options are extremely reasonable.

The access to buses and the Rato Metro line is great. Ride-share drivers also had an easy time coming to the door. Room furnishings are shabby — fake leather peeling from headboard and stool. Shower was tiny (and water got scalding quickly). Bed was overly firm. Did enjoy the convenient and plentiful free breakfast options.

The property was clean, cozy and comfortable. The room and bathroom was small but we were okay with that. We were not there much, basically just to sleep and rest between sightseeing adventures. It was a great location with transit to get you anywhere you might want to go within a block. There are several restaurant options in the neighborhood and three supermarkets nearby. A breakfast was included in the cost of the room and it was one of the best hotel breakfasts I have seen. The coffee machine was wonderful. The staff were very friendly and accommodating to special requests.

Pequeno almoço bom, cama confortável, atenção boa. Só uma observação, é necessário um cabideiro para as toalhas, tem só um para 6 toalhas, seria bom ter mais. De resto, nada a reclamar.

One concern They charged the city tax as it was not payed by Expedia I was under the impression that Expedia already included in the original amount that I paid

Regarding the tourist tax situation, this tax is not actually included in the price of the accommodation paid to Expedia. It should only be paid at check-in. Small room but clean and comfortable and our room was also very quiet. The bathroom dividing wall was a bit different and could be an issue for those demanding complete privacy but not an issue for us. The included breakfast buffet was basic but good and appreciated for starting the day. The 7:30 breakfast start made getting to early tours on time challenging - 7:00 start would have been better to allow this. The hotel staff was excellent and very helpful to us - thanks to everyone there. Hotel was very close to the excellent metro system and also close to bus stops that served several different routes. Also access to tourist favorite tram 28 was only a short walk down Sao Bento and allowed access before the crowds got on.

The room was smelly, I didn’t have ay water bottle, in my room, I was told gonna get a wine bottle, Had to go downstairs to pick it up myself,, no shampoo in the bathroom, this is the way you treat VIP customers? I prefer don’t be vip

Management and staff were very accommodating. Almost all spoke english. Very good location. Manager shared his lifelong knowledge of Lisbon. Morning breakfast was very good

The hotel is in need of some major upgrades, I had issues with the AC, with the door and not getting the VIP benefit, however the staff went ABOVE AND BEYOND, which made a huge difference.
