Relax Inn, Lewisburg
Booked for 2 nights. Arrived very late. Had to call a # for someone to get out of bed and check us in. Got to room. Absolutely disgusting. Black hair everywhere. Vomit all over bathroom door. Telephone and nightstand caked with crud. Black hair in tub and on floor. I was in shock. I have never seen such deplorable conditions in a hotel/motel! We had to stay the first night, trying to sleep in our clothes and shoes. Demanded refund for room, but was only given less than of what would have been the 2nd nights stay. Shameful.

Reserved a room online earlier in the day and when we got there to check in/pay the man at the front desk said he already sold our room because we didn’t credit card verify it. When I told him that was not an option online he changed his story and said when we reserved it online we had to check in before 4pm in order to keep it (we got there around 4:30). However online it says check in between 3:30pm-11pm. When I then asked to buy a room he charged me $55 more than what I had reserved the room for 12 hours earlier. The room itself was dirty and the sheets and towels smelled like they hadn’t been washed in weeks. When we showered the floor of the tub was so dirty the water was brown as it was pooling in the bottom of the tub. Would not stay here again.

This hotel isn’t high grade but its functional, reasonable, and easy. Its an old hotel so it doesn't look great. Bed was fine, plumbing worked, had a fridge and AC. Im into function and efficiency and high dollar amenities dont impress me. It worked. Ill go back when Im there.

We were in an emergency situation and had to pick a motel on the road. Picked Relax Inn because of the price. Pretty run down and room was in need of some repairs. Dresser was broke. Toilet very low, beds very low. Fridge had drinks from previous renter. Beds seemed clean and we slept great on them. Would not choose to come back but host was friendly and check-in and out was smooth.

WV State Fair weekend
We needed a hotel for one night so we could attend the WV State Fair. This is an old hotel but we don’t care about the furnishings. It was clean, had a fridge and microwave. Everything was in working condition. Would definitely stay there again.

No way is this hotel worth $90 a night. IT IS HORRIBLE, Expedia should be ashamed to have it on their site. I've stayed in better camping sites, even primitive. I'm very upset Expedia had it listed . OLD , HORRIBLE CONDITION. Only worth about $30 to sleep there

Noisy air conditioning Rude owner charged me a pet cleaning fee for a service dog $40.00 because I didn’t bring his certificate papers with me my ID card wasn’t good enough I said I don’t carry all those papers with me you should say that when booking don’t offer pet ok then no other hotel asked for that I just show his card Expensive for the dump it is My smelled smoky musty just old outdated needs redone Beds where old pillow are flat I blanket just terrible

Shower was amazing! The room not so much. Very few towels, no tissues, one role of toilet paper. Floors were stained, lamp shades old and falling apart. Curtain duck taped st the top. Sheets so thin you could read through them. We stayed here before and since then this place has falling apart. There was no where else to stay, so we brought all of our own stuff. So if you want luxury, this place is not for you. If you want cheap, bring your own blankets and pillows, hair dryer, tissues... it’s ok when no where else available. Just come prepared. :)

Safe, welcoming, quiet, comfortable hotel
Friendly, welcoming staff, and a good, quiet place to stay overnight while traveling. Hotel was clean, just older and needed a few repairs here and there. Family-run and operated, so we had all the basics that we needed: comfortable, clean, quiet room, A/C worked great, hot showers, toiletries, comfortable beds. We only needed to rest overnight. The family was welcoming and friendly, made us feel safe, so we would stay again.

The building and the location was nice. And the hotel clerk was nice. The room smelled, the pillows were so old and smelly, light above the sink took forever to come one, and the bathroom knob was missing part of it.

Located on a slope, business standards are not lit in the evening, it is very difficult to find, the male reception is very unfriendly, the room’s air-conditioning, furniture, coffee maker, towels and other supplies are very shabby or even unusable, and the sheets and curtains look unclean , The natural scenery and fresh air in the morning, it is not recommended not to come back

If the guest have cloths lying everywere spread over the rooms, we cannot clean the room, we only get the trash and dirty towels out so that we can provide the guest with clean fresh towels.

The parking lot is one direction and it is sometimes a bit tight to get around some of the larger vehicles that park and are still sticking out into the roadway. The rooms were clean and serviceable. There is a microwave and a refrigerator inside the room. The vent fan and the heat lamp switches did not work. The owner was pleasant and friendly.

Stinky, dirty place
I booked a King room and when we arrived I was told that I was going to be put in a Double, after complaining I was eventually given a Queen room. The office of the Relax Inn smelled so bad that I could not stand to be in it and the room was terrible, there were water stains on everything including the bed and the room stunk of mildew. I will probably not be using Hotels.com for anymore bookings if they supply this type of establishment.

They need to rip out very stained, dirty carpet and put hard surface. Door kind of shut, and could not bold it - used secondary lock and then shoved chair & table in front of door.
