Customer service was good. Our room smell like cigarettes, so I know it’s been smoked in. I did reserved for a nonsmoking room. There was stain on the bed sheet, but it’s not a big problem. Another problem we had was the lock. We struggled to get into our room because of a defected lock. The lock seems to crack from the inside. Not sure why the staff overlooked the issue with the lock? I’m sure they struggle with the lock too.

This was a nice, inexpensive place to stay on our way through from Florida to Michigan. However, the rooms are outdated; the microwave was from the 1980s, and it smelled a little musty and needed some improvement and paint. It is a safe location, the man at the front desk was extremely nice and the check in process went great.

I had a great one-night stay at this hotel. The owners were very friendly and competent. Everything was clean, comfy bed, and the breakfast area had to be the cleanest and best organized I think I have ever seen. Great value for the price, so I highly recommend it.

The room was decent but the breakfast wasn’t on time and we ended up leaving and ate somewhere else. Also the waffle batter machine wasn’t working.

Filthy conditions in room, used 4 wipes to clean surfaces- all were grey, hair and dirt in drawers. Dirt and dust on floors and corners. Dingy, dim lighting and furniture. Pillows were yellow with age. Attendant said we were given last room with king size bed even though we booked 18 days prior. Noisy. Didn’t bother with breakfast.Don’t waste your money going here.

I was unaware this was direct access to the outside and didn't feel very safe, and it was a bit noisy. That being said. That's not the fault of the hotel, and my white noise app on my phone drowned out the noise. The desk staff at check in and out could not have been nicer. The rooms are tiny but sufficient and very clean. The bed and pillows were comfy.

The hotel itself was really nice, the day time stay were very helpful and kind. The area however was extremely noisy.

This place lives up to its reviews. The staff is very friendly, the room ans batheoom were clean and the bathroom was spacious. It has a an iron and blow dryer, bith od which are rare these days. It's convenient right off the highway but surprisingly quiet. I'd stay here again.

I read other reviews before I booked. The cleanliness was mediocre...we had dust bunnies in the corner and dust on the lamp bases that I cleaned off. The front desk help was WONDERFUL....very friendly, helpful and informative. The breakfast was not much unless you want bagels, hard boiled eggs and cold cereal. The best item was the waffle.

Beds were super comfortable and room waas very clean. Howard the manager was great as well. He worked his butt off to make sure everyone had what they needed during the snow storm. I would definitely stay again

Super comfy beds and great showers (really high showerhead for the taller folks) The staff are so pleasent and check in was a breeze! Dinning in the area is limited but you can still find some good sit down restaurants

Wade at the front desk was exceptional! I was towing a trailer and he walked with me around the property to look a various pinch points and provided me a very detailed description regarding the room and amenities.

The room was very clean. The staff is helpful and friendly. At checkout the owner thanked me for staying stating “he takes pride in his hotel”. I will stay again when I’m in the area.

I was looking for an inexpensive place to spend the night while traveling from Detroit to Atlanta. I found the inexpensive part online, but what brought it home was the extreme friendliness of Wade at the front desk and a very clean room. This place is a welcome respite after a long day of driving.
