Details on Expedia state there is onsite parking for $2 however when we arrived we were told there is no parking. When asked the staff about this and showed them the information they had no idea about it and just advised on where to park nearby. We were pretty annoyed and ontop of that received awful customer service. It was 2pm and we would’ve had to wait until 530pm for free parking and leave our car somewhere on the street or car park nearby. We have our luggage in the car and the storage for pods would’ve been to small and didn’t feel comfortable just leaving our car somewhere on the streets so we checked in to see what the pods were all about and they smelled pretty bad! The amenities were dirty and the whole place was just not worth the price. We decided we’d rather loose our money on the booking as it was non refundable and ended up booking somewhere else and just walked out. Expedia needs to update their details about parking as we just wasted our money. However after seeing what was offered, the poor customer service and the conditions of the place, for the price they charge it wouldn’t have been worth staying anyway. Would not recommend.

We understand that finding parking in the city center can be challenging. While we don't have on-site parking, we do offer information about nearby public parking options at various price points (ranging from 2.4 to 6 depending on current rates). We apologize if this information wasn't communicated clearly upon your arrival.Pod Inn is designed as an affordable capsule accommodation option in the heart of the CBD. As such, our facilities are shared amongst all guests. We strive to maintain a clean environment, and we apologize if you found the amenities to be unsatisfactory during your visit. First time in a pod - good experience and would repeat. Not much of a kitchen and the reception desk person did not seem to be well suited for a customer service oriented job. Otherwise all good.

Perfect for a few nights stay, where I just needed a bed to sleep after busy days . The kitchen / communal area and bathrooms were clean and serviceable . I would recommend Pod inn for anyone wanting a no fuss , self sufficient approach to sleep and move on

Okay stay, all of the lockers make a lot of beeping noises that makes rge sleeping area loud. Our pod was also located near the door that also makes beeping noises when people entered the sleeping area. Bathrooms smelled bad.

For one night on a solo trip this was fantastic! Make sure you get a bottom one though if you’re prone to using the bathroom throughout the night.

I really enjoyed staying here it reminded me of Star Trek. It was all I needed a place to sleep at a reasonable price. There was a communication breakdown but it was resolved easily.

The pod was too hot. With the ventilation in max it was sitting on 25 Deg C most of the night. They need proper climate control. You should not have to use pass key to get back from the toilets during the night.

Spacious pod
It was interesting. It feels like you are in a space shuttle or something. For a capsule, it is quite spacious so I am surprised I dod not feel claustrophobic. I stayed there for only one night anyway. The only thing you have to take into consideration is you cannot make much noise as every noise can be heard from inside the pod. For someone who has never traveled backpacking nor camping, this is probably not my cup of tea but it is definitely worth to try out. Location is awesome as you can walk to nearby cafes and restaurants.

I really enjoyed my 3 nights at the POD Inn. The concept and delivery were good. Was travelling on my own and had a double pod to myself. Pros: close to everything, pods were clean, quiet and the restaurant nextdoor was superb. Free WiFi was good. Cons: The bathrooms were not tidy but needed a deep clean, couldn't find a place to store guitar case so kept it in pod, never saw a staff member. Would definitely use again when travelling solo.

This review is intentionally harmful. Expedia informed us that the guest was unable to attend due to exceptional circumstances and a personal emergency. We compassionately waived the cancellation fee for the guest. Despite this, we unexpectedly received a negative review and rating from this individual.
