Great hotel. Located in a pretty parkland area with good walking access to central Launceston. Food and beverages at Grain were outstanding.

I loved how quiet the hotel was. Wasnt fussed that the restaurants were totally booked as regular visitors to Launceston we have our regular places to eat.

Great Hotel, For a first time visitor the check in was like a scene from the Three Stooges, entry parking has no flow system, no one had any idea where to find reception an easy fix would be to have a concierge on ground floor. We stayed in the Silo suite & could hear every word our neighbours spoke.

The hotel is very clean and modern. Bed is super comfortable. There are a lot of parking spaces. Great location for walking around the park/ along river/ walking to restaurants and cafe.

Great short stay, biiig room!
Old silos modernised to very upmarket hotel. Excellent service - especially from Clement on arrival - big comfortable room with good facilities. Bar/lounge area a bit barren/lacking in atmosphere but food and drinks good. Restaurant overlooking the estuary and riverside area very nice … but very popular! Very pleasant couple of days in Launceston

Gorgeous spot too stay, especially the rooms with water views. Staff very friendly and attentive. Food at the Grain was amazing. Drinks service a little slow but it was extremely busy. Will be back.

The hotel was clean, easy to get to and initial check-in was easy and friendly. We returned to hotel in evening to find someone had smoked in Hallway or room and the hallway was filled with smoke, this smoke was coming into our room - I called reception and she brushed me off, had to go down to reception and complain, finally we were able to change rooms. Was not impressed by first action. I was happy they changed our rooms though

We enjoyed our stay, the quality of the establishment was excellent, Our only negative comment was the experience we had when looking at the restaurant menu, to be told we would be lucky to get a table. On returning from a early dinner at Mudbar, the Hotel restaurant was still only at half capacity.

Novel place to stay. Retains much of its past architecture as a grain silo, integrated into modern hotel accommodation. We stayed in a silo room . Large spacious , with curved walls , great views of river. The hotel is in easy walking to CBD , restaurants , markets and local museums. The is a great outdoor adventure playground next to hotel. Restaurant is excellent

We enjoyed our stay here but as a support worker who was very tired unfortunately the offering of the roll out bed was inadequate for an Adult to be comfortable as well as being charged for this privilege and ended up on the couch as it was more comfortable

Amazing hotel
Peppers Silo is certainly THE best place to stay in Launceston. Right on the river with great views And the Grains restaurant has the most fabulous, freshest food. The lamb and vegetable are all locally produced and taste sensational. The bircher muesli for breakfast was another delight. 6 stars.

The staff were friendly and very welcoming. The rooms were very tidy. The bed super comfortable. The other rooms were a little noisy however not a huge issue. The views were lovely :) a wonderful stay.

Hi Michael, thank you for your 4-star review. I am glad you enjoyed your stay, however my sincerest apologies regarding the air conditioning.
