Elphin Apartments were good option for my one night stay in Launceston. There is a KMart and Supermarket over the road so easy enough to get what you need. I had to carry my heavy bag up stairs, which was a little difficult.

There is no dryer but they showed a dryer sign in Expedia. Other guests had a terrible manner to be noisy overnight.

Property was in a good location, close to main street. There was no closable door on the main bedroom, and not enough couch space for 4 people. Otherwise for an overnight stay before out flight it was ok. Reception staff were accommodating and friendly.

Despite of the electric cut off during the night, the kitchen rubbish bin wasn’t cleaned up before we checked in.it smell terrible with the leftover rubbish.

Booked a two bedroom apartment. It’s not really two bedrooms, the main bedroom with queen bed is in a room off the kitchen area with no door or window. This was a bit disappointing as there was no privacy (there is a flimsy Japanese style screen you can pull across if you’re getting dressed) Also, we weren’t aware that there would be an apartment above us, due to the age and construction of the property this made for a fairly noisy experience with the stairs going up cutting through our apartment and every word spoken clearly audible from above. The apartment looks to have been partly renovated with a new vanity however there is a bit to do to tidy up the details. Beds were pillow top but not overly soft. We had a courtyard however it wasn’t a courtyard but a shared yard space with random furniture and a bbq just out in the open, not really what we expected. Staff were friendly enough without being overly helpful. Located across from a Coles/KMart which is handy, easy flat walk to town takes about 15min.

So guests are not mislead and you can clearly see there are no doors on the main bedroom. Great value motel in Launceston.

Great place for a quick overnight stay. It was small but adequate for our stay. We also loved it that we could go shopping for groceries over the road before heading of on our road trip.

Great if you enjoy hearing the guests upstairs all night - every footstep, every conversation. Greta if you enjoy hearing guests upstairs having a shower or flushing the toilet. It would be quieter if they had a shower in our apartment as the sound of water pipes and drains pipes is deafening in ohtbr unit. For the price they charge there are much better value places around town.

Very good location with shopping centre just across the road.My husband was having surgery at St Luke’s hospital and this was just at the other end of the street.Room was very clean and warm.I will stay again.

Nice little apartments across from Coles, with comfy beds. There was a hotel around the corner but they did not do meals on a Sunday night. Some feedback was provided to the hotel regarding some minor repairs and improvements.
