There was broken glass in the front parking area in between the first 2 lanes on the right side. In the pool area more areas with gripping mats are needed for the spills of water that occur as people walk. There was a no diving sign but during my stay there was a family with children of different ages that kept running and diving into the pool constantly. I throughly enjoyed breakfast time. And loved the layout of the room.

I was upset that the front desk clerk announced my room number in front of a strange man. I thought they knew better than that. I was disappointed that my room was right next to another occupied room when there was no way that every single room in this hotel was occupied. I guess I was assuming that I would be situated between two empty rooms so I didn't have to deal with noises from next door, but there were several empty rooms and then me and then next door was also occupied, and where the staff was noisy cleaning that room every morning. There was some noise every 2 or 3 hours that I did not recognize coming from either side of me. And usually I stay here all the time but normally whenever I go anywhere I choose the hotel because of their breakfast. This embassy suites for some reason does not have waffles and I always go for the waffles. So this one has a omelette station where they will make your omelets for you but the cook had issues with my omelet order as he did not believe I wanted a plain omelette as he kept pushing for the additions, and could not understand I only wanted a plain omelet as he kept pushing the eggs that were already made, and I didn't want those because I don't like my eggs cut into little bits. I was starting to get very frustrated with this man because he could not understand I wanted a plain omelette. Coffee was good. Seems that the breakfast staff was too anxious to close everything up and push everybody out.

The staff was great, the room was clean and comfortable and breakfast was delicious. The only thing I didn’t care for was the shower head. Not enough water pressure and jets. I had several family members and friends staying at the same hotel and they all agreed on the shower heads. Everything else was great.

I stay at Embassy in Laredo every time I travel to Laredo because it’s a very comfortable stay. It’s one of the nicest hotel in this town. Our experiences have always been great here. The water pressure is low in the bathrooms that we have recently had, but otherwise the stays are nice.

Everything was great during our stay at the Embassy. Location is great, staff is friendly at all times, rooms are spacious and clean. The Happy Hour tickets they gave us were awesome! Thank you for that. Overall, a great stay and very recommended to stay at Embassy.

Great location and awesome staff! Really appreciate the parking area although I wish they will close the rear gate to prevent access to vehicles. Rooms are well kept and serviced. Great value place to stay !

The rooms are always comfortable at the Embassy and the staff is always friendly. That is the reason why we always stay with them, but this time it was a little different. The sofa bed had ugly white stains and when we opened it there was a pack of nicotine under it. Then the bartender the first night was rude. We were the first and only ones there but he refused to give me my drink unless I stood at a certain spot of the bar and started a line! There is a limit of 2 drinks per person.

Pawn Chicken in I arrive 10 minutes early. The lady upfront by the name of America. Start acting real route trying to charge me $75 if to check in 10 minutes early. So she took me off the line and after that, a lot of people started coming in and she was checking them in so I stand back in line took like 25 minutes to check In and ask for to keys. And she told me she can only give me one because she has to serve the other people so that made me feel uncomfortable Because al the other people in front of me, all of them got 2 keys. Accept me

Pool had stuff floating in it both days. No towels in pool area both days. Called for TV listing and man at front desk that checked us in not friendly. He said he’d call maintenance for the listing, not sure why and put me on hold. Hung up after holding over 5 minutes and him not coming back. Figured he had my room number so he’d get back to us, nope. The folks cleaning tables at breakfast Sunday morning were nice. Nice quiet area.

This was a tough review for me to write. I booked this property because they said on the website “ Free Airport Transportation “. After I landed at Laredo Airport early in the afternoon and called for transportation, I get the “No one available to drive the van “. Totally unacceptable. If you don’t always have a driver, take it off the website. I was not offered the reimbursement either for me paying for my own transport. Other than that, The property is clean and the room was wonderful. Also the front desk personnel were very polite and friendly. I don’t blame them on the transportation issue, that’s bad management. Before writing this review, I left an E-Mail and phone number ( With Expedia to forward to the property ), to give them a chance to explain their side. No reply back, it’s been a month now. I’m still undecided if I will return to this property, due to bad management. DL

Embassy Suites are always nice. I did find hairs, almost matted on the counter in the bathroom. The shower did not drain either so that was a little gross with standing water in the tub as you’re showering. Food was good; bed was comfy but pillows were too soft for me.
