I tried calling housekeeping and front desk several times but nobody answered. Finally I went down and asked in person and the assured me they’d sent someone up. Waited for over 30 minutes and nobody ever showed. Finally we were so tired from our days adventures we just stole a sheet from the other bed."

"We liked the property. It was close to the ocean and hearing the ocean rise and fall was wonderful for sleeping and meditation. I did not like being placed on the 20th floor of the hotel. I'm aversive to heights. The room was fine and we had a partial view of the ocean. But we also had a good view of the favela bored into the mountainside behind the hotel. The favelas are unfortunate living areas of the poor and dispossessed, and this bothered me somewhat. The food was great. The restaurants took care of us nicely and the concierge was wonderful in answering all of our questions. "

"It's a cheap option and showed. Bedding and towels were clean, bed was comfortable. Lift erratic and dirty, floor in room dirty, breakfast is ok if you like watered down yogurt and juice. AC barely worked. Next to a Metro station, easy walk to beach. "
