Beautiful Spot
This hotel is a gem. Off the beaten path. Beautiful buildings and the gardens and pool were beautiful. The restaurant food was very good and reasonably priced. The twin beds were too short. Both of our feet hung off the end. While dining, the waitress who was from England was unfriendly and did not acknowledge us when we said gracios. She also did our check out and did not say thank you for staying with us, goodbye, have a good day…. I said goodbye, have a good day, so she finally acknowledged. Also, the spa was not open for some reason.

Big Pool But Room a Big Disappointment
A lovely pool area, nice garden, reasonable wifi did not really balance out my disappointment with the room, over 12 days was very unpleasant. Basic Ground Floor room was dark, stuffy and noisy, and fairly shabby. Always hotter inside than out. I felt the room type was misrepresented. The promised street view was a noisy main road with trucks and traffic 24/7. Security Bars on the window makes it feel like a jail cell. Fridge thermostat was broken and barely cool. AC was promised as an amenity but was inoperable, and only a ceiling fan. Tiny bathroom with awkward access over the bidet to overbath shower that leaked water on to floor. The hot water faded in and out, and was dangerous to keep temperature in control. Promised desk was a coffee table or bench. No pool towels provided. If you need one you have to go all the way back to reception ( odd). Despite the guide stating that pool loungers must not be reserved, on most days none were available with few people in sight. Many advertised amenities not open and should be listed as seasonal ( spa, sauna ). Hot walk up around and down to carpark.

Good hotel in Lanjaron - excellent food & pool!
1 night only in Lanjaron (our 2nd stop over) and wanted to stay here due to pool, spacious gardens with views down the valley and great reviews of the food. We stayed in a road side economy double - worth paying more to stay in the main hotel away from the sound of early morning traffic! Set menu was superb - book a table to ensure you sit where you want to in the restaurant.

very interesting hotel with many terraces and a fantastic patio garden. beds seem to be always the 2 firm singles - having the secure garage was good as we were on motorcycles.

Above expectations, would definitely recommend
This is a family run hotel therefore straight away seemed to have the personal touch. It is quite large (larger than we thought from the information) and set in attractive gardens with a lovely large pool which we had to ourselves at times. Quirky room with a nice balcony big enough to sit on at a small table and all areas very clean? Do eat in the restaurant although you are close to many restaurants and bars in town. Hotel restaurant very reasonable for menu de dia and an excellent experience with quality food nicely oresented and good service. Tip: take a beach towel for pool.

Lovely hotel, good restaurant, friendly staff.
We had a pleasant stay for 2 nights in early December 2016. The hotel looked really nice and our room overlooked the outdoor pool. Our room was spacious, with a balcony, TV, seating area and fridge. The bathroom was also a good size, with a decent shower. We were unlucky to notice ants congregating on the floor around the bathroom door, so we told reception after our first night and they were pleasant about it and said they'd deal with it. We think it was cleaned up however, we may have had an allergic reaction to the product they used; as on the second night we both awoke with a heat/burning reaction in our feet and lower legs - we cannot be certain of the connection however - it could have been due to something else. Fortunately the sensation subsided and we were fine about 12 hours later, with no recurring symptoms. We ate in the restaurant on the second night and it was really nice: a good menu and friendly staff. Aside from the ants, which I would say was just unlucky; the only real downside to our stay was the fact that the walls to our room were paper thin. Read between the lines...on Saturday morning in the room directly behind our heads, the occupants were having a GOOD time and we could hear it all very clearly! On Sunday morning the occupants of the room on the other side were doing the same - we could hear the woman's howls! Was it a special "love" weekend?? Our advice: either join in the fun as the room in the middle, or go for an early breakfast! :)

Convenient and charming hotel
Our room had a super view, but was close to a steep road. The hotel is large, but you don't notice because of all the different parts. It is almost a small village. Very cute plants and trees. Restaurant serves tasty menu's, the pool is big and comfortable. I would book this hotel again!

Great hotel right in the centre of Lanjeron.
We enjoyed our first stay so much that we came back a week later for an additional 4 nights, a total of 9 nights. First time, we stayed in a double room with a great view over the mountains. Second stay we stayed in a family room, also with a great view. Both rooms were very clean and spacious enough. The pool area and the hotel grounds were always kept clean. The very green and lush surroundings made the whole experience very relaxing. The hotel restaurant served great food for a great price.

Weekend at the Alcadima
We went for three nights and booked an economy room (which was a mistake). It's at the front of the hotel and very noisy - not only from traffic but also paper thin walls. We had the pleasure of listening to a full sale row in our native language! Saying that - the standard rooms which we did move to for one night are lovely and very quiet. The restaurant and food is fantastic. Also I had a spa - use of the indoor pool, steam and sauna and had the place completely to myself! Very relaxing.

Friendly Staff
We only stayed for 2 nights but found the hotel to be located in a very convenient location for exploring the Sierra Nevada and Granada areas. The breakfast buffet and dinner at the hotel was very good although the service at the evening meal was a little slow due to the number of staff to diners. The wait was worthwhile though with the standard of food excellent. Would highly recommend!!!!

Nuestras estancia fue estupenda. Se respira muchas tranquilidad y el entorno ajardinado es precioso. La comida excelente y en personal muy agradable. Es un hotel encantador con muchas plantas, flores, una hermosa y limpia piscina (abierta todo el día), tumbonas y jardines. Las habitaciones se limpian a diario y se mantienen impecables. No comí mucho en el restaurante ya que estaba trabajando afuera la mayor parte del tiempo. Una cosa que diría: vale la pena pagar por las habitaciones con "terraza" en lugar de "balcón". Pensé que había reservado una habitación con una terraza completa - ¡ups! Todos son hermosos, pero vale la pena tener las terrazas con vista por solo un poco más de gasto. todo el personal es amable. Me sentí mal al hacer que abrieran la puerta a las 4:30 a.m. durante la fiesta de San Juan, pero él estuvo bien al respecto. Otro me ayudó a llevar mi impresora que estaba usando para el trabajo, y hay un escritorio en la habitación que la gente de negocios puede usar para su computadora portátil, así como suficientes enchufes. También obtienes un hervidor de agua y una nevera.

Spanish garden paradise
This was our favorite place we stayed on our entire trip! The staff was very helpful; we asked for a quiet room and they gave us a fantastic spot at the end of the hall with our own little patio in their beautiful garden. The bed was comfortable and the shower was fantastic. Highly recommended

Hyggeligt hotel med frodig have og smuk udsigt
Så hyggeligt hotel bestående af flere mindre boliger i en dejlig, frodig spansk gårdhave med spændende blomster og planter. Rummelige værelser med god størrelse balkon med den smukkeste udsigt over bjergene. Yderst venligt og hjælpsomt personale. Fin pool. Hyggelig restaurant på terrassen med virkeligt lækkert, naturligt mad. Super centralt beliggende. Charme.
