Pros; Very nice hotel overall. Staff professional and courteous/helpful, brkfst offerings simple, but enough, convenient to all shopping and entertainment venues. Reasonably priced, flexible accomodations. Environ around hotel, semi-private by trees in back, quiet. Pool very nice. Captures feel of a country home with charm / country decor. Cons; Off a busy highway intersection, interior painting, bath fixtures needs updating...mard and rusting, spa jets not working (said waiting on part), some exterior lights by apt. Not on/,bulbs out and cobwebs on porches/fixtures. Hours of pool closing to early 9p. (10 better) Hours of breakfast done serving 10a too early - 11 better. But, felt very much like a simple country home ...comfortable, relaxing, pleasant. Will come back again.

Amazing stay as always! Only 1 little complaint the air conditioner was on so cold that the comforters were damp. However once adjusted this is fine. We will be back again.

The property could use some sprucing up but is clean and quiet. Staff was friendly! We did not use the pool however there were no lights on while people were swimming in the dark.

The property was okay. The young lady at the front desk was so friendly! Really liked the availability of coffee & popcorn was a bonus. The rooms were acceptable. I would suggest more hooks in the bathroom for towels. Also some sort of handrail in the tub/shower. The breakfast was a typical carb filled breakfast-:(

The location was convenient but a little tricky to find -- I passed it twice before I noticed the sign. I thought the rooms could use some updating as far as electrical outlets/USB ports and decor. I also thought the bathroom was fairly sparse as far as soaps and shampoo but everything was clean and sufficient for our one night stay.

It was a quaint place to stay. The bed was very uncomfortable and there was a musty smell in the room. The bathroom has been updated and was nice. The carpet needs to be replaced.

It's a mystery how this place rates highly. The hotel keys spontaneously stopped working, and the carpets were sticky, hopefully not with "genetic material." The staff was friendly but didn't really do much to improve the visits, and the area was not very nice. When I brought my concerns to the front desk, I was told, "We're sorry you didn't enjoy your stay." I expect this level of facility to be a deep discount hotel, not a mid-ranged place. Make up your own mind, but I will never stay with them again.

Honestly was the first option I saw listed so I grabbed it. It is quaint charming little hotel. Price was right room was clean, recently redon bathroom was beautiful but didn’t really math the rest of the esthetic of the room. Would totally stay here again.

For the past 30 years ,this was our favorite hotel to stay at,but not anymore. In the last few years, it has declined. The pool area has dropped significantly in its care. The hot tub ,which is one of the extras that led us to this hotel has not worked properly. The jets have not worked as they should, and as in the past 5 years, many times we came here and the hot tub did not work at all including this latest stay. The pool itself was so cold, that no one would go in it. Why the water heaters were not on ,who knows. We stayed for 2 nnights booking , but between the 2 days, no maid came in after the first night to make the bed or give us fresh towels. They use to have refrigerator and microwaves in each room, none now. 1 lamp in each room,use to be 3. This stay a sconce light in hallway fell off wall and hanging by the electric wires. Very cheap toilet paper ,like cleaning up with sandpaper. We are so disappointed with once was a top notch hotel. The positive thing i can say about it now is . . . It still is very clean and beds very comfortable. The worst is their price is high for a hotel low on amenities. Very sad!!!

Do not stay in room 130. It reeks so badly of must/mold.It was so gross. It’s also poorly lit in the room itself. The bathroom was clean and nice. We paid for the charm but it was not worth the price which was comparable to big chain hotels next door. The front desk is so cute but it smelled like cigarette smoke and there was popcorn all over the floor. The heater for the pool was broken too. The reviews for this place are very deceiving.
