The room had damage to the window coverings and the shower was very non functional. Room was comfortable and quite but heavily used and dated! The breakfast was very good. Variety was good and very clean!!!

The bathtub was dirty, the floor was dirty, the pool was ice and so was the hot tub…. With dirt in the bottom.

This property was in the middle of a remodel. That is the only reason I didn’t give 5 stars. Staff were friendly, accommodating, and very informative. Beds were so comfortable. Will be staying here the next time I go to Lamar.

No one was at the front desk for several minutes. I tried calling to get anyone’s attention. There were workers remodeling the bottom floor at 8pm when I checked in. The front reception was covered in dust and dust filled the air.

I have to stay in town for a week. Everything worked out perfect as planned. Breakfast was great every morning. Awesome oatmeal. I'm staying there at least two more weeks out of the next six.

We paid for the upgraded suite. The room felt dirty, crumbs on the floor near the couch, piece of what looked like smashed chocolate on the side of the foot stool, yellow stain on the mattress on the pull-out couch. Sheets and towels were really rough and scratchy. You could tell they put in new bathroom counters and showers as the caulk looked new and bright. Pillows were good and continental breakfast was great (turkey sausage, egg white omelets, oatmeal, toast, bagels, english muffins and the staples like cinnamon rolls and cold cereal).

The breakfasts were good and most of the staff were awesome. There was one lady when we checked that wasnt very nice or informative. Other than that. Everyone else was pretty nice.

compared to other Holiday Inn Express hotels I've recently stayed in this one was a bit more beat up and unkept. The staff was very pleasant and professional.

Bad customer service and cold pool
Hot tub was out of order and the pool was ice cold, neither if which were mentioned when we checked in or called down a few hours later to see what time the pool closed. The front desk gal was rude and barely acknowledged us when we checked in. I wont recommend it or stay there again. I understand a small town, vlah blah blah ,but there is no excuse for bad customer service

We had a great stay & wonderful service from the sweet evening clerk at front desk. She had great recommendations for dinner & was able to help me with my I phone connection to Hotel internet with a gracious heart. Our bed was awesome & was a pleasant first night stay In Colorado vacation!

Young woman who checked us in was accommodating, efficient, and a determined problem solver. I am handicapped and needed a handicap accessible bathroom and had requested from the third party we had booked through.but hotel did have that info. She got me one!!!

Hotel was clean but was under construction, very hot and ac in room was not functioning as it should. Power went out the next morning and we ended up getting dressed with phone lighting because there were construction workers outside of our window. Had to take the stairs with all of our luggage due to no electricity. Things happen beyond their control. Was not happy about it but it isn't the worst thing in the world so we keep smiling.

It feels safe around the property, our room is clean and they have more food choices for breakfast. Staff are friendly. I plan to stay here again whenever i come to visit my son whose attending college in LCC.

You need bacon
The hotel is by far the best in the town they were updating it but it didn’t affect us. The only complaint I have is they didn’t have bacon on their breakfast when you’re there for 3 days the same breakfast meat burns you out. Please get bacon. Other the. That the hotel is great

Impressed with hotel in Lamar, Colorado
I found so many things excellent about staying here. Cleanliness with wonderful white, crisp sheets and soft bathroom linens. The floors were well kept. The building (lobby, dining room, living room) were also clean. But beyond being clean, service was superb, breakfast was generous and well prepared. I color me coming back for Holiday Inn Express
