"The hotel’s location is excellent, directly across from Lausanne train station, making it very convenient for travelers. However, the property shows its age. The furniture was outdated and worn, the bed frame and carpets showed significant wear, the drapes and comforter had holes, and the room had a strong musty smell. While the bathroom and common areas were clean, the room’s condition did not feel consistent with a 4-star property. On the positive side, the staff was accommodating and responsive throughout my stay. One additional note: I booked six prepaid nights through Expedia but informed the front desk at check-in and checkout that I would leave one day early and use only five nights. I requested a refund through Expedia. Expedia later said they had contacted the hotel multiple times for approval, but their emails went unanswered. If you encounter a similar situation, obtain written confirmation of any refund approval before departure and provide it to Expedia. Doing so may save considerable time and frustration. Overall, the location is excellent and the staff is helpful, but the condition of my room fell well short of my expectations for a 4-star hotel."

"This hotel is a 10 minute walk from the airport. There is an airport shuttle available. Despite having a room on the airport side of the building I hardly heard jets taking off. The staff was friendly. I was solo. My room was fine for me but a couple may want to upgrade to a bigger room as mine was pretty tight. There was a refrigerator in the room with 2 bottles of water. The bathroom had a great shower. Staff was friendly and helpful in answering questions, providing maps."

"This hotel room was magical! Loved the double doors going to the balcony that overlooked Lake Geneva! Spacious, clean, comfortable, well thought out room that just couldn’t be better! The decor was beautiful and the lobby is just breathtaking! Staff were amazing and treated us very well! The food for breakfast was lovely and the outdoor seating was amazing for breakfast and the bar (which we ate at mostly) We found the food in the main dining room a little expensive (especially with the Canadian exchange rate) but in line with most of Switzerland! The beautiful promenade to Chillon Castle is right off the back patio! We utilized our Montreux Riviera card for the museums and transportation to Vevey which we were very appreciative to have! What a beautiful stay in a beautiful city! Thanks for a wonderful memory!"

"As three friends we had a great experience at the hotel. We managed to lock ourselves out a couple of times but nothing was too much trouble. The communal space on the top floor was everything you needed. It was light, airy and very comfortable. Outdoor and indoor. Breakfast was good and a great selection. Ideally situated in the central area. The free travel pass is an excellent service."
