Exceptional Hotel
We had an amazing stay at Hotel Lido. We truly enjoyed everything about this great hotel, and appreciate the excellent service, fantastic restaurant, gorgeous and clean atmosphere. Hardly value for money
Sadly, the owners have renovated sections of this lovely old building with rusted sheet steel. The entry gate in particular looks as though it leads to a scrap yard. The room was excellent and the staff were fine, but the price of meals is exorbitant (Two small courses and one bottle of wine £150) Only to be recommended to those with more money than sense.

However what you have defined "rusted sheet steel" in reality is Corten which is considered a prestigious and design material. The entrance is momentarily impacted by a very ambitious project that will enhance the entire destination hower in no way generates discomfort since it is out of our Property. Luxury at the Palace
Fantastic stay at the Lido Palace. Luxury from the moment go into the gates until the moment you check out. Excellent location for Riva and the pool area is very peaceful. Breakfast was fantastic and the staff throughout the hotel exceptional.

amazing place by the lake
Awesome stay, a stunning place with amazing staff (Michele). Book a room on the second floor with a balcony and lake view, it has the best ambience. The restaurant has MAGNIFICENT food, we could eat there all day. The only downside is the choice of food at breakfast, the selection is limited. Also a very big plus for adhering to all the covid regulations, this made me feel safe.

Best hotel in the region?
Great hotel, great location, walking distance to Riva del Garda and to the beach. Nice inside and outside pool. The jacuzzi was a bit cold and not very useful but everything else was amazing. Free valet parking.

Not as good as hoped for.
We were an hour early and our room wasn't ready so we had a drink and a meal at the bistro. Wonderful view food and wine. Our room was not the lake view but partial. I expected a heated towel rail and the bath was a bit grubby around the plug hole. The room creaks and groans and it isn't as sound proof as expected. We could here the children in the room next door. The pool was quite busy and it was difficult to find somewhere to place our belongings. Small children squealing made the relaxation at the pool difficult. Their parents were oblivious to the disturbance they created. Other families had well behaved children who made no impact on the enjoyment of others. Considering the price of accommodation here and that children are free the parents should be much more mindful of disturbances of other guests. Overall the best part was the restaurant and the restaurant staff. That was faultless. The room was not the luxury I expected. I have had much better in better locations for less cost.

Amazing stay made special by the staff and surroundings. We were offered a complementary upgrade on arrival to a huge suit. There was fizz and a handwritten note from the manager on arrival to the room with birthday regards. Everyone was friendly and went above and beyond. The location was amazing. Will return.

Beautiful property filled with beautiful views. Our room had 8 windows in it and each one provided fabulous views from each one. Staff was warm and welcoming and went above and beyond to make sure our first stop on our honeymoon was amazing. They even gifted us a free bottle of champagne! We look forward to coming back again. An absolutely fabulous hotel in in a breathtaking setting where service and attention to detail is matched by quality and professionalism. Old and new architecture are brought together brilliantly allowing guests to take in both Lake and Mountains as well as the ever changing light and the beauty of the setting throughout the building. The staff were helpful, friendly, attentive and knowledgeable in all departments and the food and drink was superb. I will certainly return and would recommend this hotel to anyone seeking excellence.

A little bit of heaven!
This was one of the most fabulous two days we have ever had. We were upgraded to a lake view and when we woke up in the am the sun was streaming through the window and a spectacular view was in front of us. Also loved the lunch we had in the restaurant with a great view of the lake, very calming. There was a very easy walk to town. We enjoyed watching all the sailboats going in and out. Seeing Santa Barbara church lit up at night was stunning, next time we will try to climb to it! Unfortunately only stayed two days, would like to stay much longer.

The Lido Palace is a lovely hotel in an excellent location with wonderful views of Lake Garda. The breakfast is very good, as is the Bistro for light evening meals. We had a junior suite and it was very comfortable, quiet and clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is perfectly situated for walking into the old town in the evenings. All in all, a 5 star experience!

A stunning hotel on the shore of Lake Garda opened originally in 1899 but totally revamped about 10 years ago and now a brilliant marriage of old and new. Very much 5 star and would return.

Terrible modernization of grand hotel
A wonderful old grand hotel that has been ruined by tasteless modernization. Bedrooms are dark brown and grey colour, concrete floors, very depressing to be in the room

Absolutely excellent property in every way. As much as we travel all over the world this is by far one of the best properties we have been too and we came to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary. Room excellent on the fourth floor with stunning terrace. Excellent location, excellent views. Staff was attentive, timely, friendly and knowledgeable. Food excellent. Amenities also excellent. There is no need to leave the property once there. We will be back!!

We stayed here after staying in Milan and then traveling around Lake Garda. It was everything we needed after a busy time in the city, the hotel is spotless and the staff were attentive. The hotel is perfectly located within a few minutes walk to town and is surrounded by the most picturesque scenery. I loved every minute and will definitely be returning in the future.

Nestled at the top of Lake Garda the picturesque Belle Epoque hotel is luxurious! The views are breathtaking. There is a well equipped spa with an indoor pool that looks out on the outdoor pool and deck area. The outside terrace gives an al fresco opportunity to take in the views. The town is a few minutes from the property with shopping and restaurants!

I am usually that guy that holds back a star just because I feel that should be reserved for the "perfect" hotel. This was it. It was truly an amazing experience in an amazing place. Admittedly, they upgraded our room, but I just cannot imagine any of their rooms being less than perfect. Service was amazing, the breakfast and a dinner were incredible. We were supposed to get a spa credit as part of the offer but that seemed to be lost along the way somewhere. Nonetheless, they honored it even though they had no record- with little fuss. I guess the only downside was that the hotel was so amazing, we were reluctant to leave and explore the area!

Beautiful location, wonderful staff, great amenities. We had a suite overlooking the lake and the view was amazing.

Fantastic service; everyone was very accommodating. The room was spotless and we had a fantastic view of the lake from our balcony. Great to have an indoor and outdoor pool as the weather can change quite rapidly in the late afternoon. Brilliant breakfast; there was a large variety and it was all make to perfection and even ordering from the breakfast menu, rather than just the buffet, was included. Would definitely recommend, I couldn't find a better hotel in the area.

This hotel manages to have the personal service of a small hotel but all the services of a large hotel. It has a great location by the lake but inside the grounds it is tranquil compared to hustle and bustle of the lakeside path.
