"Casa Santo Stefano was a highlight of our trip! The B&B style hotel was very stylish, clean, and had a stunning view of Lake Como. Our room was amazing! We had a great terrace to view the lake, and a very comfortable lounge area in our room. Breakfast was great - the staff took great care to prepare a tasty spread of pastries, meats, cheeses, antipasti, eggs, cereals and yogurt. As you would expect in Italy, the coffee was out of this world! The hotel is not staffed 24-hours a day, however...

"Beautiful location overlooking Lake Como. The staff were friendly, attentive and welcoming throughout our stay at this small hotel. The area is very quiet and a good base to travel around the lake. "

"I would definitely visit here again. Only tissue is if you want to go out somewhere nice it is a 10-15 minute walk downhill to lake. We walked a lot but the ladies complained about having to walk that far downhill with nice shoes and difficult if raining. It was very difficult to get transportation for dinner. The hotel did not have a shuttle. "

"It would have been nice to get a heads up on driving access to the site. They sent us a message that there is no check in after 11pm but no information about road access to the hotel. We had to drive around town to find a way to the entry to the hotel. Also, the reception wasn’t very friendly. Check in and check out. "

"I fell in love with this place. Early in the morning you open your eyes and find yourself in a fabulous place. All your dreams are starting to come true. Time stops and you are immersed in a parallel world. This is one of the best places on our earth. This hotel makes the impossible possible."

"Pros: I had a very good stay in the hotel. Very clean thanks to the cleaning ladies they organized everything in the room like a 5 star hotel everyday. The breakfast was very good. Lawrence in the breakfast area gave guests very good customer service. The hotel located very close to the ferry and bus station. Cons: the only thing that made me disappointed was the poor wifi connection, I literally could connect to the wifi for about 10 mins daily and get disconnected after. I shared this problem...

"Great location & very nice rooms. Front desk staff was not cooperative & forgot to follow thru on several items. Disappointed they were not willing to upgrade us to lake view. Breakfast is incredible with both selection & quality."

"The Property was quite lovely. The staff was outstanding. David the bartender was wonderful to deal with. However the bar needs a better selection of wine by the glass. Big reason very few people go to the bar. Overall we really enjoyed our stay there. "
