“Palace de Menthon -”

We stayed in various hotels around and in Annecy during our holiday and this was our absolute favourite! Such a wonderful setting! The staff were so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Our room was large and comfortable with beautiful views of the lake. We dined in the hotel dining room and it was simply superb - marvellous food and fabulous service. We wished we had stayed there earlier in our holiday as we would have stayed there longer.

“A great hotel spoilt by a poor breakfast”

Lake view rooms which are above or close to Reception should be avoided as you will be disturbed by late arrivals/departures. The restaurant was fine for the dinner with good food and views but breakfast was no better than Hotel Ibis 20years ago, at best very ordinary and not half as good as the Novotel in Tinqueux,Reims. Would stay there again as views and general environs are the best in Annecy and can put up with a poor breakfast occasionally.
