This property is so old and seriously needs an update. Very basic amenities are lacking at this property. We paid extra for an ocean view and regret spending the extra money.

The hotel has old rooms, we stayed in room 20 and it was awful! I asked reception many times if we can get a cleaner room but they kept saying they didn’t have anything. We have two young kids who are all over the floor and it was just so old and dirty! The bathroom is tiny and old. We had a seven night stay booked and every day I asked if there was a different room half way through the trip I asked someone different and they were able to switch us to a different room but same room type and it was much better. I would definitely stay again but just not in the rooms by the street. We took an Uber from LAX and it was about 80$ and took an hour. Grocery store across the street and super walkable to a lot of places.

The location is great, over the beach. But the hotel fees are crazy. What used to be free parking is now $45 per day! The room was tired. Drapes were off the hooks and the sofa upholstery was torn. Our bill for two nights all together was nearly $900. Bed linens were very nice.

Have stayed at Pacific Edge multiple times. We love the premium rooms with balcony, makes for a perfect beach getaway. Staff always helpful and professional. Kitty was great, she assisted us prior to arrival via text, at check in, and during our stay.
