It's a good location in Laglio, as I was there for a wedding. So, good if you are there for specific reasons, an event, business. The hotel is clean and comfortable and the staff are wonderful. This is not a property you will be spending time in. You need to walk or taxi to do anything. The breakfast is basic, and enough to meet your morning hunger.

Several of the other reviews seemed unnecessarily harsh. For the location, which is an expensive area, this is a fine hotel for the price. It was very clean, the owners and workers were nice and friendly, and the food at the restaurant was good. They cooked for us one night even though we were the only ones there. The balcony views of the lake and mountains were amazing. But the road noise is for real, especially during rush hour, but calms down a lot past 7pm. Maybe bring some ear plugs if you are concerned, but it is worth the sacrifice for the view!

I was afraid to touch things because it looked like it hadn't been cleaned or wiped in years. The floor mat had stains on it. The sheets did smell washed and looked clean Hair dryer didn't work. Shower had was wonky - calcified head so the water sprayed in directions it wasn't meant to & the water pressure was low because the head was probably worn out. Not a great location. Even for the view. Lake view is literally everywhere in como stay somewhere else for yes same price that's cleaner and skip on the lake view

Amazing hotel views
Really lovely stay, would recommend to everyone amazing pool, amazing view, great restaurant, has parking, room was recently refurbed with a new bathroom. Would stay again!

The place had a very beautiful view with the lake. The patio of the restaurant was very nice nice. The room and the bed was better than I expected. They had a parking. The breakfast was not very impressive.

A quiet out of the way hotel, perfect for a pit stop between destinations if you want to brag about being at Lake Como whilst juggling getting home fast but also needing a stopover that is quiet. (Out of season) 2 very good restaurants within 1/4 mile, I cannot comment on this hotels food as we didn’t dine here. The stunning view of the lake from the room is worth paying the little extra for. The staff are super friendly.

Parking was great, very easy and on property. The rooms and building need refurbishment. The mattress was bad and you could feel every spring in it. The tub and tile were painted and the paint was peeling and would clog the shower drain cover while you shower. Peeling wall paper in the hall. Just small things that need to be upgraded and this hotel would be so much better.

Beautiful balcony view of Lake Como from their restaurant. But we didn’t have a view from our personal room. The beds aren’t very comfortable either and the rooms could use a bit of updating. Their hotel pool is nice too. The hotel got the job done for us but wasn’t our favorite.

The ròom was cleaned regularly and stsff were friendly and helpful. Our glight was dellayed so if we had not had relatives staying we would not have been able to check in after 11pm so someghknv to thknk of when booking flights . Breakfast was contknental but drinks were good and not to pricy. Views were good and towels for pool use road was busy outside

The hotel was easy to find and had lovely views over Lake Como - but the busy road is between the hotel and the Lake which made the rooms noisy for most of the night. We paid for a family room so had plenty of space. The staff were very helpful, and the restaurant was quite good. There is a small pool with amazing views and we had it to ourselves on several mornings which was a real bonus. Walking down into Laglio was pleasant apart from the first 100m or so along the busy road with no pavements.Quite a steep climb back upto the hotel. There is a bus service that stops outside.

What a great place overlooking Lake Como. Fabio & Moreno who are the owners were fantastic people. If you want a real old world Italian experience this is the place for you. Restaurant had very good food.

Great location with many rooms overlooking Lake Como and decent parking. The breakfast buffet is ample and great pizza late at night. The bus stops right there so no need to face driving in Como. Friendly helpful staff.

Family run B&B with stunning views of the lake.
The family that runs the hotel are kind, helpful and hard working. The hotel is situated in Beautiful Laglio with stunning views over the lake. We woke up every morning to have breakfast in the dinning room that looks straight out on to Lake Como followed by a cooling swim in the swimming pool and then on to sunbathing looking out at the view. Wonderful. In the evening we chose mostly to eat at the hotel despite having a car as the food was really good - especially the pasta. We visited Argegno which is a 5 minute drive - to take the cable car up the mountain, visited Menaggio for the Lido, spent an evening strolling around the Piazzas in Como, drove to beautiful Bellagio and continued up the mountains to take the children to a Go Ape type activity and finished with a water park day in Milan. We managed to throw in a spot of Geroge Cloony spotting as he was allegedly in town - but we didn't see him. We all had a great time.

Basic but good for the price.
Basic room. Mattress could have been better. No fridge or AC though with a ceiling fan and open window it was comfortable, even in mid August. Very basic but decent sized bathroom and beautiful view of Lake Como. Breakfast was good.

Swimming pool!
This hotel was like a dream!! Facing to the lake Como with swimming pool as well as ping pong table. Although there is nothing neighborhood, there is restaurant in the hotel, so we didn't need to think about dinner. WiFi was poor, maybe too many people there.

Noisy roadside hotel
On a loud road with no fan or AC. Very loud all night with vehicles and food was eaten, but only due to a lack of restaurants in the area. The hotel is on the side of the mountain, so its a hike down to the lake, and a maze to get there.

We enjoyed the great views of the Lake and were impressed with having air-conditioning and a sister in our room. The meal was delicious also. Great value for the price!

you get what you pay for
This hotel seemed like a good deal and I heard Laglio was a beautiful area. Laglio, is a residential town with no other restaurants (that we could find) other than the hotel restaurant. The food was average but the service was atrocious. It's run by the owners and they're waiting tables, checking in guests, and no doubt preparing the food. Both times we ate, after repeatedly asking for napkins, we finally got up and got our own. When we asked what the 1 euro service charge per person was for dinner, the woman got angry and said it's for the table setting; table cloth, napkins, etc. (which I found interesting given we were never given napkins). She said you pay that everywhere in Italy, but I never saw it anywhere else. When we asked for a glass of tap water, she insisted we buy water because the water at Lake Como wasn't safe to drink. We informed her we had been drinking it since we'd been here and it seemed fine. She begrudgingly gave us tap water. We later looked at a bottle of water that was bottled in Lake Como (WHAT?). The couple with whom we were traveling stayed in a lake front room. Great view, but the road is right below the window and they couldn't sleep because the traffic was so noisy. We had a rear room with no view, but less traffic noise. However, the owners dog was kept right outside our window, and when he wasn't barking or whining, he was snoring louder than my husband. The thing that irked me the most was their website advertised free wifi. When I asked for it, they told me I had to pay. I took out the printout that said it was free and was told it was a mistake. I said mistake or not, they should honor it. They refused and made me pay for it. The bed had a spring that poked my ribs all night, but the room was clean. Overall, not a good experience. Better to stay in Bellagio or even Argegno (up the road 15 minutes but great little town).

Courtesy need to be improved. Breakfast wasn’t very good. As per my reservation I was expected to have room with balcony, instead there was just a window. Outside there is noisy traffic.

Ganska slitet hotell som ligger direkt vid vägen vilket innebär mycket oljud från både bilar och motorcyklar. Troligtvis bättre om man kan bo högre upp än på första våningen som vi gjorde. Ok frukost samt restaurang med prisvärd mat.
