This is our Third visit in 10 plus years. The rooms need to be updated, they are the same. The bed posts have gouges out of the wood, the patio decking was dirty, the TV remote was cheap and sticky. The breakfast is cheap

The room was comfortable and clean. However the breakfast was underwhelming. For a hotel like this, one expects better. There was no fruit, no toast, and the offered ice cold muffins. Will not be returning to this hotel as there are much better options for this price bracket.

The room is super comfortable with an amazing view of the lake. Super peaceful and calm environment. The only thing that wasn't satisfactory was the breakfast.

The room was very comfortable (again). Very good sitting arrangement beside the fireplace, which is so warm and cozy. Beds are good, nicely and properly furnished. The jet tub is awesome! The place is very picturesque with a gorgeous lake view. The restaurant cuisine is tasty and rich. We are fond of this place and will definitely return whenever possible.

First time at the Inn stayed over a 3 day weekend but decided to leave after 2 nights. We had an expensive exec suite that was quite roomy. Tough temperature control with window units (ambient temps were hot). Bed was quite large and with bizarre mattress that was so soft and deep it was hard to move in the bed. They really need a new, much firmer mattress in that room at least (hope all the suites are not similar). Had a tiny TV to watch at night (24" maybe). Breakfast provided item by item on specific request for each. Felt almost like staying in a foreign land, Transyvania at Holloween maybe (actually travelled from Massachusetts to Laconia)? Great dinner and service at O's first night and Fratello's the second night. Nice to drive around Winnipesaukee in our Tesla. Great superchargers in Tilton and Center Harbor. Decided to forgo trip up and around Lincoln, Kangamangus highway to Conway and back, although easy to so with Tesla SC in Lincoln (probably not even needed but nice) due to forecast snow on third morning. Great EV confidence builder for touring anywhere in NH but don't think we'd come back to this Inn.

Roomy nicely furnished ROOM!!
We had a wonderful stay! Staff was friendly and welcoming! Our room was large with very comfortable seating and ultra soft bed with the perfect weight feather down comforter. The breakfast was ok with limited choices. I especially liked shelving and counter space for toiletries and the large sized suitcase holders. Great hotel.

Clean and friendly staff. The rooms were a little outdated. Unfortunately during our stay, it rained which put a damper on our stay. Its just not for us. The hotel was lovely and i am sure if the weather was better we would have enjoyed it more.

It was advertised as a Spa hotel, but the spa was closed over the weekend. The price of the hotel is pretty high, but the linens were synthetic and the rooms are quite over dated, including the bathroom. doesn’t worth the money that we spent. In addition, the breakfast was quite bad.

Vey nice, clean and quiet place to relax. A whirlpool tub was a nice experience. The bed sheets and bathroom products were super nice, too. We would enjoy the modern materace much more. A full breakfast would be much appreciated as well. Overall a nice stay. We may be back.

Good ambience and courteous staff. O’Steaks is excellent for seafood lovers. Spa is nice and therapists are great. Breakfast options are limited & would need improvement. Overall a nice and cozy place for those looking for a quiet getaway from the busy city life.

Room was very clean and cozy. Nice fireplace in the room, was perfect on a cooler morning. Shower was nice and hot, plenty of towels and typical amenities. Unfortunately the beds are really bad. They seem to have these mattress toppers that may be filled with feathers, not sure. They are very very soft and envelope your body. You basically can't move. Perhaps they do this to not have to replace the mattress that often. Not sure who would think these are comfortable and they sleep hot. This is a deal breaker for me. Plenty of oversized throw pillows, but only 1 small pillow. Also, the breakfast is free. But only a few choices and they have a server. You must request a muffin, hard boiled egg, yogurt or cereal. You are intimidated to ask for more than one item.I assume they do that to limit the amount that they have to stock $$ and therefore the amount you can eat. Skip the breakfast, unless you only want a muffin and coffee. Very convenient location right by Fratellos and the playhouse. Nice view of the lake.

Huge room, comfy beds and quiet location
We had a wonderful stay here and would go back here again if in the area. Everything was great. The room was comfortable and huge. The only disappointment was the breakfast—it is just a continental breakfast with not a lot to choose from. Nothing hot. Just yogurt, muffins and hard boiled eggs and not much more. And you weren’t allowed to serve yourself. You had to ask for every item and then the person stood and stared at you while you are eating making it uncomfortable. Maybe that is left over from COVID but it would be a much better stay if that was changed. Other than that, it’s a lovely hotel.

Good hotel w/ some odd unexpected experiences
Very clean, great customer service and comfortable beds. I see this being just fine for a business trip or to be close to weirs beach and surrounding fun stuff to do! But for the price the hotel has some odd stuff. The decor and lighting in my particular room was not great (too dark!) I booked based on photos online and my room was very very different from what was in photos. something to be mindful of. This happens In hotels but usually the decor or vibe is not WILDLY different my room felt like a dude ranch themed room. Very unexpected. And random lol The pool is a sitting pool - not heated. Not big enough for swimming so it’s a bit difficult to really enjoy. And you have to book a time to use it. (?) Just not what you’d expect if the hotel offers a pool. why not make it a hot tub instead? (Which you’ll notice used to exist but has been removed..) There is a lake on the property but no amenities to enjoy it. It seems strange the photos on the hotel site displays a kayak in the picture but they offer no such amenities to do that. We had to drive 20 minutes to kayak. Probably could have called the hotel to confirm but it seems misleading. The terrace is a sidewalk facing some grass / parking lot then lake beyond it. It’s nice they have chairs and a table on the grass but it’s sort of an odd setup. Breakfast is continental. Not a big deal but it wasn’t self serve? Some guy took your order and got each thing for you. So awkward. And took forever.

My husband and I chose it for its unique charm. It was more gorgeous than the photos show. The rooms are incredible. The staff was amazing and the restaurant is perhaps the best we've ever been to. We will definitely be coming back for years to come.

We stay every summer at least 3 or 4 times - we love everyone at Opechee and the property itself is wonderful. Perfect location for us for what we need. Worth the money and will be back summer of 2024 I’m sure!

The only complaint i have is that the continental breakfast was lacking. The pictures on the website showed assorted fruits and cereal, as well as pastries. There was only a few yogurts, hard boiled eggs and muffins/ pastries. Also, only a kuerig for coffee. We ended up going out for breakfast. But otherwise was a very lovely comfortable place. And all staff were wonderful.
