Room was disgustingly dirty. Husband called the front desk within minutes to let them know the room was dirty - food and hair all over the floor, stained, dirty sheets. He left, went to a better hotel, and when we tried to get a refund through Hotels.com, the hotel told them that he came in, tore the room up and got it dirty then left. I’m assuming it’s to save face since someone didn’t do their job. Look at his timeline. He checked in, called and said he wasn’t staying there because it was so dirty, then checked in at another hotel 15 minutes away, and it all happened within 20 minutes.
