The hotel was fabulous! The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The water pressure in the showers was delightful. The location was fantastic since there were so many restaurants and shops within walking distance. But most importantly, the staff was incredible. We want to thank Mayumi Tokieda for her help in getting my daughter's wallet back from the train. She went above and beyond calling the JR Line for us to find the wallet and have it waiting for us to pick up when we traveled on to Osaka. Thank you Mayumi! I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Kyoto.

Perfect location in a safe desirable neighborhood. Staff was very attentive. And the bonus for us during a long trip was that they had DIY laundry for very cheap in the building!! Highly recommend this hotel!

Great hotel in great area of Kyoto. Next to main shopping street, canal full of little restaurants. Very close by to Pontocho very charming and full of bars and restaurants walking distance from hotel. Gion district and nishiki market all walking distance as well! Would stay again!

Kyoto was relatively quiet in comparison to Tokyo but the location of the Hotel was great. Just across the street from Nishiki Market so there were plenty of great local stores for shopping and several dining options. I would most definitely stay here again since the rooms were much larger (to our western standards).

Our family stayed at the facility for three days. The hotel is near all shopping centers and restaurants. Additionally there are a couple of convenience stores within 2-3 minute walk. The breakfast is more western style with limited selections. The facility is clear and qiuet.
