Pleasant hotel in the Casamierz district. About 20 min walk to the Old Town. Room comfy (with minbar and room safe) and staff pleasant and helpful. Breakfast very basic but cheap at 6GBP a head.

Hotel Ester
This is a fun place to stay in the Jewish Quarter, with many truly excellent restaurant options available, including the hotel restaurant. The room was quite clean, very quiet, and charming. The only problem was the WiFi. It was only accessible in the reception area and restaurant. I was unable to access it in my room (on the first floor). I told the staff every day I could not access it. One person said she would have the router restarted, but others would just shrug.

It is on the edge of the Jewish area.
It is a relatively small and older hotel. The room I had, 24, was large. Curious triangular 'bathtub" with shower. It was 100% silent at night, as it was on the inner side of the hotel, so no view.

It was in a good area for getting around the town, we liked to be able to sit outside of the hotel and also we had very good weather.

Pretty nice hotel in a great location
Very solid location and a nice enough hotel. Wifi wasn't working in my room, and the shower was just ok. All in all, pretty good value, but just missing the polish

Had a lovely stay at Hotel Ester! Staff were very attentive for my husbands 50th birthday. Room very clean and comfortable! The hotel is in an excellent position in Kazimierz. Would highly recommend

Lovely hotel in a perfect position. Staff really friendly, nothing too much trouble. Food delicious, service excellent. Will definitely stay there again.

Lovely hotel in a perfect location.
I have just returned from and amazing weekend with my mum. We found the hotel staff friendly and very helpful and nothing was a problem to them. They arranged our airport trf "although the driver never arrived to collect us and I had to contact the hotel which they contacted the driver to hurry him along". They also arranged a last minute booking to Auschwitz tour with comfy tours which was very efficient. The driver mariuz "Mathew" was great and spoke good english. The tour guide "Ava" was also lovely. The rooms look old at first but are just decorated with more traditional decor/dark wood and spotlessly clean. Rooms were tidied with beds made and fresh towels everyday. We were slightly disappointed with the choice at breakfast to suit our tastes as it was continental, however we always managed to eat something. The location is a big plus for this hotel. The street is beautiful and steeped in history, lined with many restaurants serving traditional polish/jewish cuisine. It was lovely to sit outside and listen to the live jewish music being played outside. Together with Israeli, italian and indian towards the end of the street. A few streets away is Estery Street which is highly recommended for a visit. Many restaurants and bars to be found including a market in the middle of the square to buy snacks/street food. Atmosphere is great there of an evening. Its also a 10 min walk to the main market square. If we returned to Krakow, we would definitely stay here again.

I loved this hotel. It is a quaint little place in the center of Kazmierez. The room was beautiful with old world touches that really made it special. The staff was friendly, accommodating, and helpful. Everything we wanted to see was in walking distance, and if not they arranged transportation. I will stay here again.

Krakow is definitely worth visiting, and the Ester was nicely located for older Jewish historical sites. Good restaurants, including the one at the Ester, were close by. The staff was so helpful but the rooms and facilities were "tired".

Great hotel in the centre of Kazmierz. Lovely room, great breakfasts. The reception could not be more helpful, from printing out train tickets to arranging trips to the Salt Mine. Would definitely stay there again.

Small, quaint and enjoyable
Great hotel for a two night stay. The only detriment was that the lift was broken and those three tall flights after already walking 7-8 miles were tiresome. The room was warm even with the window open - especially with the heavy duvet on the bed. I found what I think was the air conditioner the last evening; but I had no energy for determining how to make it work. There was a restaurant adjacent that provided free breakfast and 10% off the bill for hotel guests. Room was small; but nice with ample light. Great location in the old Jewish Quarter. Several restaurants were nearby on the square. Easy walk to the Castle Hill and Old Town; or the tram stop was nearby. Peter, the day clerk was very courteous and helpful with suggestions about eating establishments, scenic walks, and information in general. Needed a taxi at 0415 which was no problem Bellman was right there to take my luggage downstairs. Stay was quite pleasant. I would recommend highly provided elevator is working.

A lovely, laid back city.
We had a wonderful and interesting 4 days in Krakow. There were 5 of us and we all managed to see everything we wanted. The Hotel Ester was absolutely charming and extremely comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfasts superb. We would definitely stay there again.

Friendly staff. Clean hotel . Good food.Good location 20 min walk to Krackow centre. In a square with other bars and restaurants competively priced. Cheaper than home.meal with all the trimmings at Ester for 2 £33. Dont be afraid to try Polish Cuisine.

Nice cosy hotel for a week end in krakow
Up sides: Very good hotel and restaurant, large and clean room. Big bathtub. Down sides: noisy at night in the week end if you room is on the square, poor breakfast All in all I will recommend this hotel!
