Brilliant location, very close to the main square and not far from the bus/train station. For me no problem, but it might have been for others: on the weekends, there is a very noisy club in the building or next door. (It wouldn't stop me from staying there again.) The door to my room did not close very well, so I could hear everything that went on outside on the corridor: old building.

Great Guest House.
As a reasonably priced Guest House off Kraków’s main square we found our room to be basic but clean, warm and had everything we required for sleeping in. It was en suite and the shower was good with plenty of hot water throughout the day. The location was excellent and the staff were very helpful, friendly with very good English. Plenty of cafes in the vicinity for breakfast every morning and tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Two negatives only - only one channel on TV and not in English, but this didn’t bother us, not on holiday for TV!! Also, walls were not sound proof and could hear people in the next room, on two nights. All in all a very good, value for money stay. Would definitely stay here again.

It is very old and small. Heater was not very hot but will not keep you freezing in the room. Amenities are very old. My kids were excited to see the pictures that they have pool table they want to play, but we were told it is 8:00, people are resting so it is not open . But how loud could play pool table be? The second morning my husband and kid ask again, it was also not allowed. I asked for using washing machine, the answer is to wait until 11;00am the next day. Check out is 11:00am. The water boiler is not very clean so we didn’t use it instead we bought cold water to drink. We checked out before 9:00 the second morning。 It was just one night。

The property was in a good location for the Christmas Market. However the look and feel of the reception area, stairway, and room was not maintained and very outdated. The towel heater was broken and the grout in the bathroom was grimy. Also there were some type of insects in the bathroom at night. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. Probably wouldn’t stay here again.

Hello,Thank you for your opinion. It is very important to us for the further development of our Guest House.Our property is located in the heart of the old town and is therefore quite old. Of course, we understand the inconvenience associated with this.Could you please elaborate on the problem with the bathroom? Guests never had any problems with them before (apart from possible small spiders, but that's quite normal). You can, of course, do it via email if that is more convenient. I got 3pax room for 1. Portable electric water kettle, instant coffee sachet and tea are really a plus, since breakfast places seldom opens at 7 am and mostly at 9pm. Perfect location within the old town area, wherever directions are walkable. Staffs are hospitable. I strongly recommend the place for budget conscious like me and you will have a wonderful vacation.

A Veru Friendly Place with great Location
Cheap and Cheerful best way to describe the Globetrotter. On a short 5 day break with my daughter to visit the the Christmas Market and other local attractions. Very spacious room and nice and cosy when it was so cold outside. Location excellent. Staff at reception exceptionally helpful and very friendly. Would definitely go there again.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Globtroter. It was pretty much right in the center of the city, and I could walk everywhere in matter of minutes. There was plenty of restaurants around, where I could get food. The guest house itself is a historic building, so there is no elevator, but going up 2 flights of stairs is really no big deal. The staff was extremely nice, and asked me every day if everything was ok, or if I needed anything. And if I did, it was taken care of in a matter of minutes! I was very impressed.

Great location
Great location, friendly staff and very clean. Only downside was the noise from the bar/club next door. If you’re out til the early hours won’t be a problem but on a night back early it went on til around 2am on a weekend evening.

Great location, 100 yards from main square, 20 min walk to jewish area, lots of bars and restaurants within a 2 min walk clean and warm guest house, excellent value for money we asked for extra pillows and they were left in our room. We went for the Christmas markets and the location of the guesthouse meant we could be at the marjets within 2 minutes walk.

A hidden gem
It is a hidden gem... literally..you can easily miss it. The location is excellent right next to the main square. Tons of eateries around. The check in was smooth and so was the check out .round the clock reception is very helpful..since I had to Check out pretty early in the morning. My room was on 2nd floor...overseeing the court yard...the room was decent... absolutely no complaints..loved my stay. Super value for money !!!

Can’t beat the location right off the main square of old town. Old fashioned but quaint rooms, clean, with WiFi that works great. Tea kettle, cups, and hair dryer provided. Kind of tricky to find the first time ... when you find the address, there is a buzzer high up to the left. Push the button for Globtroter. Go to the end of the hall and buzz again to get through that 2nd door. Then walk across the courtyard and to the left is the reception entrance. Minor gripes: No elevator/lift so expect to climb lots of stairs with luggage. Some guests can be inconsiderate, returning to their rooms at 3 am and shouting like no one is trying to sleep (please don’t be that person.) Budget friendly with a great location.
