We stayed at 7 hotels within 3 weeks on our honeymoon and this was our favorite. The room was quaint and felt so comfortable. The staff provided us some leftover pastries each night from the cafe downstairs. Parking is easy out front if you have a rental car. We also have to say: if you're staying here, make sure you go to dinner at the Tin Grill, two doors down for dinner at least once!

Very nice staff nice room and great location. We got bad weather in Krabi and decided to cancel one of the nights which the management entirely refused to refund. Careful with losing the room key as they will charge you 200baths. You only get one room key by the way. Steep hard to climb stairs to access your room which you will have to do by getting through a coffee shop they also run. This was awkward and uncomfortable at times. Air conditioning noisy.

Great location with easy access to the likes of Railay Beach for just 150THB for long tail boat. Decor of rooms set up to feel very homely with the added bonus of a huge bed. Initially thought spiral staircase would be an issue with lots of luggage but staff on hand to carry bags etc. No complaints and would have no hesitation recommending this to anyone.

Amazing hotel
This hotel is amazing. The young boy who does late shifts is soo sweet and kind and attentive. he runs up and down the stairs. he works really hard. He gives you a dessert to share everynight, slong with a goody basket.

The cutest hotel
I can’t say enough about this hotel. Look no further and book it if you’re looking to stay in Krabi town. From the warm welcome to the intricate decor, this boutique hotel is so cozy, I didn’t want to leave!! There is a cafe downstairs (which is closed every Wednesday) with good food and coffee. It was a 3-5 minute walk to the pier to catch a long boat to Railay. Definitely the best hotel in Krabi town!

This is an ultra trendy boutique hote that was a joy to stay in but management need to make their air cons system is up to speed. Overall the place is a stand out in a provincial Thai town. The place for a short stay.

Great hotel....stay here!
This is an amazing small hotel in Krabi town. The rooms are large and extremely well laid out. The bed is fantastic! The breakfasts are enormous and of the highest quality. The coffee is the best you will ever taste. This is a family run hotel and I will be delighted to return again....give it a go...you will not be disappointed. PS Due to a spiral staircase not suitable for elderly or wheelchairs.

Boutique stay at the quiet side of krabi town,great for peeps who appreciate some time off. We did not get the breakfast voucher instead did it ala carte, they serve fantastic food that comes with a nice portion. Room amenities comes with curated personal care, comfortable slippers and robe, great bedding, daily replenish cookies(3 different types) and drip coffee. They even have tour packages of private hire for our selection, at a reasonable price, very convenient and speedy. Everyone there are All Smiles, great service and place to stay with. Downside: no lift and limited TV program but that would apply to whole of krabi though.

I got to be honest about my review since this will may help others for booking this location. I think the hotel itself is really nice and good staff overall but i will give 3 stars just because how I felt in the end. It could have been my number 1 recommendation to everyone if anyone will stay near Krabi town but this review hopefully help both hotel and customer. The story starts from my rental for a motorbike. I rode a day and found out there was a flat on the rear tire. I had switch to different one and flat got fixed and charged me 650 baht. So when i came back to hotel after the tour, the staff told me i have to pay for the repairing fee. It happened when i was riding so i didnt like the fact but I told the staff i will pay before check out. Next morning, i woke up early in the morning and decided to pay all the charges that were accrued before checking out since i do not like deal with the money matters at the end and check out quickly instead. I paid the full amount and saw a staff who stamped paid on the receipt. I didnt ask for a copy which was a dumb decision and when i was checking out, new staff ask me again that I owe them reparing fee. I told the staff That i paid already in the morning. While I was waiting at the front for the taxi, a different staff came over and said that i have to pay the repairing cost 2 more times which made me very very uncomfortable. Hope there is a system set in place so not 3 different staff telling me I owe them a repairing fee.

Bit pricey, but lovely stay!
My partner and I stayed at Family tree for two nights. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was cozy, the bed comfortable. The hotel, room, and bathroom were very clean. They provided free fresh coffee, and home-made cookies in the room. As well as free water and juice in the room refrigerator. The bathroom had natural body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. They also loan out a water-tight beach bag, including towels and a couple bottles of water. Very happy with our stay here!

We had a great one-night stay at the Family Tree hotel. Everything was spotless and the bed was really comfortable. The free snacks and minibar were a nice touch. We had breakfast in the downstairs cafe and it was delicious! Would definitely stay here again.

Hidden Gem in Krabi Town
We had a great stay at the Family Tree hotel! It was in a great location and the stay was extremely helpful. They have their own cafe as well which serves up one of the most amazing breakfasts you will find in Thailand, as well. I promise you won’t be disappointed with your stay here

The room was really cozy, clean and neat. The service was great and everyone was friendly and welcoming, making you feel at home. Room came with complimentary drinks, coffee beans where you can brew your own coffee and different kinds of homemade cookies! Walking distance to the weekend market and nearby cafes. We would love to come back again!

The hotel is very good. There are a lot of little touches that make for a welcoming and pleasant stay. My only gripe would be that on the morning of my departure (12 noon), I availed myself of the full amount of time available to me, checking out at about 11.45an. For at least an hour prior to this, I had the cleaner repeatedly sweeping and mopping the floor directly outside of my room, frequently hitting the door of my room. My suspicions that this was some type of passive aggressive message for me to clear the room were confirmed when no sooner had I left the room than he was in the vacated room immediately. I believe that this type of conduct by hotel staff should be discouraged. Otherwise a great stay.

Warm welcome, friendly service and nice touch with home made cookie in the room, very tasty. The spiral staircase was a surprise, not a problem for young people, could be difficult for seniors. I do not recall if this or no lift was mentioned before booking.

Best Place to Stay in Krabi Town!
It's a small and homely place, but the rooms we got were amazing. Well-furnished and stocked with the most natural/organic amenities. We had breakfast and two lunches at the restaurant below during our stay, the food was reasonably priced and tasted wonderful. Will definitely be back!

We were confused about the hotel entrance initially as we had no idea that it was upstairs of a restaurant. When we eventually found the place, we were greeted by friendly staff and felt very much at home. The room we checked into was also similar to what was described. Absolute gem in Krabbi
Loved, loved, loved this hotel!! Recommend to EVERYONE! The only disappointment was that the families local restaurant was closed due to Buddha day! That said, the onsite coffee shop, staff (family) and rooms were excellent! If you have to spend time in Krabbi...stay here! You will not be disappointed!

We loved our stay at Family Tree! The hotel design is beautiful and modern and we couldn't imagine a cleaner room. We informed one of the owners that it was our honeymoon and she brought us some wine and flowers. The family that runs the hotel is so sweet and accommodating. They also run the bakery that is below the hotel and it is delicious.

Adorable Boutique Hotel
This was our first hotel after our 30+ hours of traveling and we could not have chosen a better place. The family that owns and runs the hotel and cafe are wonderful! The hotel was very clean, comfortable and beautiful. It was a quick walk to Wat Kaew Temple, walking street market, the Mud Crab sculpture and bars. The food and coffee in the cafe was fantastic and again the people were so nice! They booked a ride for us to the ferry and the ferry to Koh Phi Phi. I would recommend the Family Tree to everyone, I can't wait to go back.

Pleasant stay with Family Tree Hotel
Hotel room is has very nice, classy and comfortable design, definitely 5 star hotel standard. The lobby is a cafe which serves western style menu. We had two breakfast set, the presentation was beautiful and the taste was awesome. Location wise, it is 2 streets from the weekend Krabi night market. Definitely a strong recommendation to stay with Family Tree Hotel if you are visiting Krabi.

I stay in the best hotel's actually i just lnded from a stay in SANTOSA resort singapore.. high end 5star and this place would put it to shame with attention to detail. Breakfast was unreal and was between 07:30 & 16:30... its family run and the hotel tells the story about it! If you are a traveller on a budget and want to splash out a little then this should be the treat and book it, or any couples, families etc... equally this place is made for everyone.

Best stay ever!
Although around this area there isn't much to do, except the night market that's just walking distance that opens on Fri, Sat and Sun, I had the best staycation ever in this hotel. All staff are very friendly and it makes me feel like home! It's a really beautiful place and they have tip top facilities. The cafe also serves delicious food especially their desserts! Highly recommended to everyone!! I would love to come back to this place again (:

Family Tree Hotel er et meget moderne og smart indrettet hotel, hvor alt er nyt og flot. Vi fik den venligste modtagelse, af nogle søde mennesker der var meget glade for at se os! Hotellet har indgang i en meget lækker Café, med et stor udbud af Shakes, Smooties, Kaffe, The og kager + mad af forskellig slags. Hotellet ligger meget centralt og vi havde en meget dejlig overnatning der.
