When Executive Chef, Emon Mukherjee, realised I wanted something simple, he made me the most perfect prawn and vegetable main course. The staff were brilliantly managed, with nothing being too much of a problem and with staff that remembered our room number, even when we couldn't! A special mention to Santosh, who not only remembered our room number but also what we ordered each time. When a sudden problem occurred with our original room, the staff and management couldn't have been quicker or more helpful in rectifying the situation efficiently and effectively. We would thoroughly recommend this hotel and its exemplary staff."

"This hotel is in a very beautiful spot with a multi level garden and incredible views of the hills around. The owners and staff were extremely kind and welcoming. We had coffee out under the arbor and breakfast was brought to our veranda. Would definitely stay here again."

"Reception struggled to find our reservation at check in. Room was basic, Very hard double bed. Kettle and a jug of water was supplied at check in, no further water given and room does not get made up. We were in the main building annexe and it obviously had not been used for some time, smelt and felt damp. I know we are in the mountains and should expect lower temperatures. We were told hot water would only be available 7-10 both mornings and evenings but we had to ring reception several times to get the water turned on, and it didn't stay in for long Positives.....good location, short walk into town and quiet at night. Hotel renovations during the day so very noisy. "

"Excellent service and very peaceful location, even though slightly steep last few 100 yards for the car. Nice view from the room and property in general. Staff and cook are very very polite. Rooms were clean and organized. Bathrooms were also clean, although slightly wet after they clean (hosts can perhaps look into this and ensure bathrooms are wiped after cleaning). This was only reason for for a 4-star rating on “rooms” (instead of 5-star rating)."
