"Stayed in this hotel for three nights over Christmas. Location could not have been better; just behind the Broel towers it is a 5 min walk into town. Kortrijk was lovely over Christmas, beautifully decorated with trees and lights and a Christmas market in the main square. Parking was easy in a public car park across the street (6 euro for 24 hrs). "Location is great, just beside the main square and 3 min from the train station. Room is comfortable but a few weird parts: toilet was separated so washing hands was steps away. Bathroom had only 1 place for hanging towels while having 2 sinks which is of course comfortable if you are with 2. Mini fridge was a nice touch. Closet to hang clothes was spacious but there was no iron. Did not request due to the hassle it meant. Staff very friendly "

In a three day stay, we had no air conditioning, was promised a room with a bath we didn't get, you couldn't open the windows properly which is a fire hazard, and one window had no mosquito net. All not usually a problem (apart from the fire hazard) if the owner hadn't have had the heating on in the spa, creating an oven in the rest of the hotel on nights when it averaged 25 deg C outside.
