We were Rs. 10000 for smoking in the room. Then did not inform us in advance about this penalty They held back our bags till we were forced to pay Rs. 10000. If they would have told us verbally about the penalty we wouldn’t have stayed there at all Overall we were totally disappointed with their attitude. I request to ask them to refund our money paid through credit card. Thanks Prashant

Dear PrashantNamaste!Thank you for your feedback about your recent stay with us, with reference to your comments on mentioned charges, please find the below: -We are a non-smoking property (Ecotel) and smoking is not allowed in the rooms and public areas. and we always inform our guests about our policy on arrival/during check-in. It has been clearly informed and made understood about the Non-smoking rooms and you have signed on non-smoking policy during your check-in, but you and your team have violated the policy of the hotels and smoked in the rooms. after the smoke, we can't offer the particular rooms to the other guest (48 hours) due to the smell. Charges are towards the maintenance and recovery of the non-smoking rooms.We always strive to provide the best service to our guests.
