Reception staff were unpleasant. The bonus perk I received after asking about it was one (booked for 2 adults) entry to a swimming pool. (In the middle of January)

We are very sorry to hear that you had a bad experience when you checked in. This is not our normal standard.The bonus perk is 1 day free parking and either a ticket to the pool or the fitness but yes only for one person.Once again our apoligies for not making you feel very welcome.

we stayed in 3 bedroom apartment. it was quiet and peaceful. the room was next to car park and on ground floor but we were not disturbed. apartment has plenty of blinds and ways to ventilate. we shopped at local supermarket to keep meal cost down. visited koldinghos and Legoland. also had a shopping day in town.

The apartments are fine for a short family stay, nothing special, ours was a bit tired, but perfectly functional. We were on the street side which was very noisy, had no view and didn’t have any privacy - so just be aware of that if you are booking (the room came with ear plugs so it is obviously an issue that the business knows about). It was nice having basic cleaning materials (such as washing up liquid) provided as standard. The pool is not attached to the apartments, it is a short walk away and must be paid as an extra. I feel like this is slightly hidden in the details, we also did not come across the playpark that is photographed - perhaps that is also offsite.

Very nice location for the Legoland and nice and morden /clean accommodation for family (with kids) well equipped kitchen. Kind and supportive/friendly staffs at front desk. I hope to stay next time at this Kolding hotel apartment.

Appartement style hotel with (in my room) a bunk bed and two single beds put together. Fully functional kitchen, fridge, and laundry available in another building. Small breakfast but very high quality, fresh bread and various meats and cheese to put on top. Free parking included which is a bonus. Good area as it's close to many different restaurants and a few bars, and a shopping mall is just 2.5km away.

Great place and super convenient in Kolding
This was my second time to stay here. The location is great, easy to walk to many places. Parking is extra but very reasonable. I prefer to stay in the free-standing units as they tend to be more quiet and I like the layout of the apartment better. Initially this trip, they put me in a unit that connected to the street side as well as the back side facing the parking lot. It was noisy facing the other units and noisy people below me, so I asked to be moved and they were able to accommodate me and move me to a free-standing unit. My stay was far more pleasant as a result. I was a single person and they put me in a 6 person unit which made no sense to me. The only noise was from the water birds squawking a few nights, but better birds than screaming kids. Everything was clean and comfortable. There were several extras like a shopping bag to borrow, coffee and filters and all the basics in the kitchen plus soap/shampoo in the shower; even a clothes line in the bathroom to hang up damp clothes from rainy days. I prepared my own breakfast/meals in the apartment so I cannot speak for the breakfast the hotel offers for a price in the mornings. The reception people were very friendly and helpful and they helped make my stay a good one. I will stay here again when I visit Kolding and highly recommend it to others. Also a great view of Koldinghus. Take advantage of the top deck look-out for spectacular pictures mornings and evenings of Koldinghus!

Great property. Great location on the main walk. Front desk guy was awesome. Very good English and very helpful. I’d definitely come back. Only issue Was I couldn’t find any AC. I don’t think it had any. I just opened the windows and it cooled down fine. I suppose that is the norm though. None of my stays here in Northern Europe had AC. Great Place.

Weekend in Kolding
A very comfortable stay in a lovely location, in a unique complex of apartments. Kolding is an interesting town with lots of history and easy access to other tourist attractions.

This place exceeded our expectations in every way! Kolding is beautiful and this place is ideally placed to take it all in. We loved it so much we adjusted our travel plans in order to stay another night. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!!

I love this property, in fact this was the third time I have stayed there. Incredible location, scenic, close to everything, the staff go out of their way to be helpful, the list goes on. The design is innovative and really in tune with ammenities that the guests would use and appreciate. The promotion of local arts, culture and nature is an added bonus.

Great location in Kolding.
Big room with small kitchen area. Breakfast was simple but ok. Stayed in a circular room with the bathroom in the middle. No door between kitchen and sleeping area but the bathroom walls acts as division between the two rooms. Parking available on premise for a small fee.

Great hotel stay in a beautiful area
We had a nice lakeside apartment with full amenities including coffee machine, microwave and dishwasher. There was no daily housekeeping but that was totally fine with us as we were only there for 2 nights. The apartment was clean and cozy and the bed was comfortable and warm. Breakfast was extra charge and not great but decent and certainly can be filling. The whole area was wonderful for walks and relaxation. Walking distance to shops and restaurants and mornings at the lake watching the sky changes colors as the sun rises was one of the most beautiful experience.

This was the worse property that I've ever rented in Europe. Was supposed to be a non-smoking facility & when we reported that the next apartment was smoking & it was coming inside our unit, nothing was done to stop the problem. Noisy neighbors through the night but management did nothing even though they published a noise policy. Unit was not clean, tile floors were sandy/dirty & musty smell thought the 3 bedroom unit. Would never recommend anyone to stay at this property.

Great location. The castle and one of Denmark's nicest (public) spas (with great facilities and a huge swimming pool) are literally next door. The condition of the room was nice, but fairly basic. In particular, the kitchenette is tiny. The staff was reasonably helpful, but not very proactive. One nice quirk: they gave me a free voucher (after I asked about the spa), because the weather had been bad the day before. Apparently, that's a policy of theirs, though I don't remember it being advertised anywhere.

Thank you for your review. We appreciate the feedback. We always sell tickets to a reduced price to the swimmingpool, when you are a guest staying with us. In the summer holiday we had a special Sun Guarantee campaign where we gave out free tickets if it rained during the stay. It was advertised only in the reception and on our social media.

Danish design with a spectacular lake view
Our apartment could not have fit our needs better, in fact it exceeded them. The breakfast provided was great and allowed for a daily opportunity to meet other guests and to talk to staff about local sights and directions. Lots of great printed material about local history and sights. The location is very central for walking, buses and trains. Form and function at work.

Clean & quiet place right in the middle of Kolding
Great quiet place, everything was clean and in working condition. WiFi is limited to 3-4 devices so one needs to be careful with the devices that can be connected. But overall, the stay was quite comfortable, nice view from the room.

Thank you for your review. We appreciate the feedback. We are located right in the centre of town but still close to nature. That means that just next to us is the beautiful castle lake and to the other site the latin quarter. The centre of town with all its shops and restaurants is just a two minutes walk away.
