Waking up to the singing of the birds, palm trees and lush forest. Very clean rooms. 5 stars for all. Area is tucked away from tourist hotspots, lots of local life to witness. Nearby beach is fantastic.

Overall it was okay. But the resort felt a little unfinished and the service wasn’t the most attentive. We had to wait 30min for somebody to check us in. We had a tv in our room but didn’t work. And the hot water wasn’t working either

Thank you for your review it was a pleasure to accommodate you. Since Covid we have been busy fixing and updating everything in the resort. We have managed to address most thing but to is an ongoing project.The Koh tao cable TV has been closed since covid so there is no tv on the whole island not just us.I have looked into the hot water issue and have resolved the problem which i apologise for.

Little hideaway
Great property that is about a 5 mins drive from ferry but a 25 min walk. It’s on the quiet side on the island- which we loved! We received a free upgrade upon arrival which was fantastic and very grateful. The room was spacious and bed was comfortable! A/C worked great. The owners and workers took great care of the property.

Excellent stay and customer service
Had a really good 4 night stay. From the time we arrived until the time we left the staff were helpful and friendly. We were upgraded to a villa as there was not any hot water in our superior room (we were told this upon arrival). The villa was clean, comfortable and made all the difference to our stay. My husband left his Bluetooth headphones in the bedroom and only realised when were on the catarmaran to Koh Samui. The staff were fantastic in getting them returned to us. They boxed them up and put them on the ferry and we picked them up from the port at Koh Samui the following day. Completely over and above normal customer service. We expected to return to Koh Tao to collect them. Big thanks to the staff - 6 star service.

Very enjoyable
Staff where very friendly and helpful! Our villa was lovely and spacious and had a brilliant big bed! The location is good but you have to be perpared to walk quite alot or hire a bike which alot of people do! My only comment is the shower wasnt great the temperature of the water went for one extreme to the other! I would definitely come back here.

Can not say enough good things about my stay here. I never leave reviews but because they were amazing i am! They had a book with places, beaches, markets, and restaurants near by as well as activities! This was so helpful! Free water every day! They upgraded our room to villa as well since it was really slow season. The pool was excellent and all staff were wonderful. There was also a baby puppy wondering around too which was the icing on the cake!! Will definitely be back to Woodlawn when i return to Koh tao again.

Our stay at Woodlawn was great! The hotel is very neat and situated in a quiet location but close enough to all the buzz of Koh Tao. The staff were great and it was very easy to get a good quality scooter to zip around on. Only thing that wasn't perfect was the pool. It may have just been due to the rains that had just happened.

Great Place with Easy Access to the West and South
Our time at Woodlawn Villas was really enjoyable. Their rooms are very comfortable and clean. The pool was lovely and we enjoyed swimming in the water amidst the sounds of nature. Located down a quite street, and outside of the main hustle and bustle of Koh Tao's towns, it's a perfect place to enjoy some peace and quite. By walking the location is about 15 min away from Chalok Bann Kao Bay and other south beaches, 20 min away from Mae Haad Pier, and 30 min away from Sairee Beach/Village. No motorbike required if you enjoy walking and don't mind the heat! The only recommendation we have is regarding room cleaning knowing when to change the towels. In an effort to conserve water, they do not wash the bed sheets or towels each day, which is a practice we prefer. However, we did have a towel that was soiled beyond reuse and for 3 days tried to get it changed. Leaving it on the floor to indicate as such, we came back each afternoon to find the towel put back on the hook or shelf without being replaced. Even leaving the towel inside the shower floor didn't get the point across. This was a minor thing, as they provided us with four towels upon check-in, but something to improve upon as they continue serving guests. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would go there again if revisiting Koh Tao.

Secluded relaxing stay
Overall the room was extremely spacious, extra large comfy bed and big shower. Wonderful big balcony to chill in the evenings aswell. Minor inconveniences - in our 5 nights there the towels weren't changed once (they have an eco-policy but said towels would be changed every 2 days), wifi wasn't particularly strong, room sometimes wasn't cleaned until near 5pm some days, shower pressure was weak. The area and Koh Tao in general is beautiful. The location of the property means it's really quiet, and you get a great night's sleep. It's a bit of a distance from all the major beaches so about a 30 minute walk in any direction, much easier if you're brave enough to hire a moped. Pool was nice after a day out in the heat. The area is a bit hilly and mucky but we managed to see a giant tortoise on site. Many amazing local restaurants nearby - recommend the treehouse cafe and Tuktha for cheap, tasty local Thai food.

Excellent little place and very affordable.
This place is ideal for solo traveling or a couple. It’s basic and affordable but exactly what I was searching for after spending 4000baht at a Koh Tao resort. Very friendly staff and knowledgeable about the area. It’s a short walk to nearby places to eat and drink but 25min to Mae Haad. I would stay again. So safe I slept with the sliding door unlocked.

Great hotel. The location puts you close to stunning beaches and brilliant bars. The room was clean and classy. Fab value for money. Would recommend to anyone, whether on a budget it not

Comfortable place to stay
Comfortable room, clean showers and decent air conditioning. Only negative was that during reception opening hours they weren't there and sometimes had to wait 10+ minutes before someone showed up. That said, nice place and would stay again!

really beautiful but it's got sonething missing
this plave had the potential to be good but with no bar or restaurant shooting by the pool is not a joy. the stag are friendly but you don't really interact with them as there is no reason. The a.c. was noisy and soo was the fan. We could here people moving in other rooms as solid floors and therefore a noisy stay.

Wonderful find that we thorougly enjoyed!
A clean and comfortable room, quiet location away from all the rush and enjoy sounds of nature, this is perfect place! Massive comfortable beds spotless rooms English movie channels, hairdryer, tea coffee water, fridge, lovely bathroom it was just perfect worth every penny! Will definitely be staying again on our next trip over to Koh Tao!

Hotellet er meget rent. Mega flot udsigt. Ligger lidt væk fra byen. Hvis i er til fest og farver, vil jeg nok ikke anbefale stedet, da der er meget stille i den nærliggende by. Der er 6 liggestole ved poolen, og få parasoller. Vi blev krævet penge fordi vi var kommet til at tabe en flaske med vand (vi havde dog selv ryddet op efter det) - så vi havde lidt fornemmelsen af, at de ledte efter ting på værelset som var galt, da vi chekede ud. Hvis du er dårligt gående, er stedet ikke noget for dig, fordi man skal op af meget stejle bakker for at komme op til selve hotellet. Ellers et fint ophold.

It is standard hotel policy to check over the room at check out time. We supply complimentary glass water bottles to guests during their stay with us. After use they are sent to the mainland for sterilisation and refill. We have chosen not use plastic water bottles to reduce our environmental impact. If a guest breaks a glass bottle we do charge a small fee to replace the bottle. Det gør vi gerne igen!
Vi var meget positivt overraskede da vi checkede ind. Værelset er rummeligt og dejligt lyst, med køleskab, tv, hårtørrer og andre praktiske ting. Der er daglig rengøring, som er rigtigt dejligt. Poolen her på stedet er ikke særligt stor, men den er perfekt at slappe af ved, da man kan ligge og lytte til naturen omkring en. Vi har nydt det. Min kæreste og jeg endte endda med at blive nogle dage ekstra, da det er et at de bedre steder vi har været.

Bel endroit en nature
Bien situé à quelques minutes à pied de Chalok et Shark bay. Bel ensemble qui a de l'espace. La nature est présente. Propre et spacieux. Seul hic mais ne pas oublier qu'il s'agit d'une île : pas réellement d'eau chaude pour la douche

Villas un peu vieillottes, les chambres sont belles et plus récentes. La piscine est pas mal mais mériterait d'être mieux entretenue. Le personnel est quasi inexistant, hormis pour le nettoyage

Schön u. ruhig gelegen. Kommen gerne wieder. Leider stand während der gesamten 10 Tage nur kaltes Wasser zum Duschen zur Verfügung. Reparatur sei nicht möglich.

Tropisch hotel in rustige omgeving
Het hotel is ruim opgezet. Het ligt iets wat afgelegen maar dat vonden wij niet heel erg. Het was schoon, stil en mooi.

静かにのんびりできるホテル
ガーデンヴィラに宿泊しました チャロックのメインロードから山側へ少し入ったところで、部屋数が少ないこともあり 静かにのんびり過ごすことができました プールもほぼ貸切でした 寝室、バスルーム、キッチン付きダイニングがそれぞれ独立しており 快適でした また、日用品も揃っているスーパーが幼児の徒歩でも7分程度のところにありました

Vi bör lite hastigt till detta hotell från ett mindre mysigt. Vi kom till paradiset. Rent, rymligt, SKÖNA sängar. Trevlig balkong med fina rottingmöbler. Ligger lite avlägset utan strand. Men vad gör väl det på Kho Tao där man förflyttar sig med mc vart man själv vill vara över dagen.

Un resort precioso
Entorno fabuloso. Jardín y piscina super cuidados. Muy bien ubicado (à un tiro de piedra de la playa de Chaalok). Habitación bonita, espaciosa y cómoda con vistas agradables. Personal muy sonriente.

Hotel in ruhiger Lage
Hotel liegt etwas abseits der Straße und in einer ruhigen Gegend, abseits des Massentourismus. Viele Möglichkeiten lokal zu essen. Schöne, gepflegte Hotelanlage. Kontaktaufnahme mit funktioniert über Email perfekt.
