"It was a lovely one bedroom apartment with a private pool and killer sunset views. It's about a 10-15 minute walk to town but coming back is a challenge. If you do not walk, prepare to spend 10-15$ each way. Even then, some of the taxis will not go up to the highest apartment as the hills are too steep. "The view to Shark Bay was outstanding from our suite. There are 276 steps from the sea to Reception at the top. A great workout everyday. The pool area is beautiful - a small gym served me well. "We booked waterfront rooms. The view was great with the sand beach right in front. Comfortable covered patio to hang out on. Room was spacious and bed comfortable. Like most places in Thailand could use some minor repairs but nothing that would impact the stay. Staff were wonderful. Walk along the beach 5 minutes to shops, restaurants and the main pier. Go behind the hotel up a short steep hill takes you to a road with hundreds of shops and restaurants as well as a very long and sandy beach....
