Prana Resort was an absolutely magical place to stay. Friendly staff, beautiful architecture and such a tranquil calm atmosphere. We found the breakfast to be delicious and the room so comfortable. We will be sure to return.

We had a wonderful stay at Prana . A beautiful ocean front room with an infinity pool and ocean on our doorstep. and lovely helpful staff. Breakfast was delicious too. Meals and cocktails by the pool were also amazing. The only downside was the shuttle bus into chewang was only available if there were 4 or more people . We taxied it a few times as there were only 2 of us.

Hidden gem
The place is a total gem. I almost don’t want to say anything about it because then everyone will go. Beautiful quiet. Good for families and older people not looking for the party scene. Clean, service is superb. O my to do list again

This is a lovely hotel with the most friendly staff. The beach club across the road is the perfect place to relax. The hotel is handy for restaurants and 7/11. We would come back.

Fantastic Hotel & Service
Brilliant Hotel, we ad a beachside room which was lovely and clean with a fantastic view and facilities There was a lovely welcome by reception upon arrival with a drink and cold flannel. All staff were friendly and smiling. The breakfast was one of the best we had whilst staying in hotels in Thailand. The showers even had plentiful hot water, not that can be said for all of the hotels.

The property a a whole was comfortable and well put together. Breakfast was delicious. What was unfavorable included a septic odor from the shower drain when used and a lack of foot bridge or tunnel linking the hotel and resort sides of the property.

So beautiful!
Beautiful resort, and the staff were so helpful and kind. We rented scooters thru the resort and it was very simple. Our room was awesome, with pool access. The beach the resort is on is very clean and nice as well. The staff allowed us to check in early without charge because our flight was early in the morning, which was so nice! Would definitely come back!

You can’t go wrong with this hotel.
We had an excellent stay. Our room facing the ocean was comfortable and quiet. We enjoyed the sunrise and resting on the deck throughout the afternoon. The staff of the hotel was very helpful in arranging a drive around the island and transfers to and from the airport. The beach is kept very clean and is great place to play. The area around the hotel isn’t anything special, but it is quieter than the Chaweng Beach area. I highly recommend this area for people on a short stay who want quick and easy access to the airport. The only thing that we would have liked is a bigger selection of Thai food in the breakfast buffet.

The property is amazing, they greet you with special tea, washcloths, and flowers upon arrival. We had to wait to check in but we were welcomed to sit by the amazing pool while we wait. Great service overall, friendly staff, beautiful resort. Would 100% recommend!

The hotel was great, awesome facilities, friendly and professional staff especially the kitchen staff and the reception staff. The rooms were extremely clean and very nice. And the mini bar stuff were not overpriced at all 😁 The location is good I guess (close to the airport and fisherman’s village) and had some cool restaurants and bar walking distance from the hotel. They organized free transport to fisherman’s village every Monday, Wednesday and Friday which is extremely great. And also transport to some beautiful beaches like chewang which is so helpful and great since the ocean water around this place is not clean. From the online pics you’d think it’s on the beach but it is not, they have a some sunbeds on the beach but you’d have to leave the hotel and cross the road to go and enjoy the beach. Oh and the ocean water in this part is not clean so you can’t swim. The massage wasn’t all that... but maybe because we choose an oil based massage (not sure) Breakfast can be monotonous, the need to have some variety for the buffet breakfast especially if you are there for more than 5 Days. They have some construction going on, maybe next time I go to there I might actually get yo stay in their new property will be at the beach 😊 Overall Prana was a great place!

Not a bad hotel,but poor service and the main road between you and the beach isn’t particularly clear in the advert.you can get an awful lot more for your money than this hotel.

Beautiful Prana
Amazing area but the beach is not suited for swimming. The hotel is divided into two parts of which one is across the road from the other (this was not clear when booking) and not ideal - the beachfront section is much better - the view is fantastic there! The Thursday beach BBQ and fire show was fantastic! Hotel looks a little rundown/old. Need to request room to be made up each day which seemed odd.

Highly recommended for R&R
I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a relaxing holiday. Our top 3 highlights are: 1) Amazing staff (the bartender Tong was our favourite!), everyone is always smiling and provide excellent service. 2) Pool facilities, there is a really nice pool with swim up bar in the resort, and then an amazing infinity pool above the beach at the villas across the street, we spent hours here every day! 3) Breakfast buffet, so many options, great window of time (7-11 every day), food was delicious. Since it’s a resort, prices for food, drinks, spa services, etc were comparable to what you’d spend in a big city in North America, but you’re getting the convenience of not having to leave the resort and getting excellent service. Our only criticism is that you can hear every noise in the hallway. Side to side rooms seem quite sound proof though.

Very nice hotel, but beach not swimmable
We enjoyed the hotel and main pool. When we discovered that the beach water was very cloudy and smelled funny we decided not to swim in it. Not sure if it was due to algae or pollution. We were able to upgrade our room to one that had a pool entry (for a price), which helped make up for the lack of beach. The location was convenient to Fisherman Village, and the free Friday night shuttle was nice to have. My only complaint (other than the poor beach) was that we were charged extra for my 4 year old and we used the existing bedding in the room. I thought that since we were paying a supplement for each night, a roll away would have been included.

An excellent hotel, with nice pool and gym, situated close to the beach. The resort is located either side of a road with part actually fronting the beach. The food is exceptionally good with a great choice. Staff friendly and attentive.

The Hotel is divided into 2 parts - Villa is facing the beach while the hotel is across the road. However, hotel guests are allowed to use the beach and infinity pool at the villa side. Good selection of breakfast items. Free transport shuttle to Fisherman Village on certain days. 711 and restaurants are within walking distance.

Not a single fault
We only spent one night in Prana due to a mix up with dates at a previous hotel, but we didn't want to leave. The hotel shuttle was prompt and staff friendly when they met us at the airport, the hotel itself is beautiful and the reception staff courteous. They made the check-in and check-out process so relaxed. Our room was laid out beautifully to help us celebrate our anniversary and our balcony looked out onto the hotel pool. We didn't get a chance to get in, but it looked amazing and the bartender at the pool bar was friendly - we could communicate with him from our balcony. The bed was lovely and comfortable, the room was clean, watch out because there are mosquitos, but that is to be expected. Across the main building are the villas which look onto the beach. The pool there looked lovely too, though it is smaller, but then, you have the beach and the water to compensate. Pong, at the beach villas was incredible He basically planned our time in Samui for us within a ten minute conversation. The on-site spa was amazing! You do have to book in advance, and as we were only there for one night, there was only time to do a milk jacuzzi bath, but I have never been so relaxed! Again, the staff are great, friendly and welcoming. There is a good variety of options at breakfast, from made to order eggs to papaya and the most fluffy pancakes. And the breakfast area looks out onto the pool, as an added bonus. Room service meals are very tasty and I would definitely recommend.
