My expectations were exceeded! The Rin Beach resort was in the perfect location, the pool area was great for when you want a break from the beach and the rooms were clean. Overall very happy with our stay!

Avoid . Too much theft.
It’s a shame as the hotel it’s self was not bad and in a nice location. However the amount of theft within the hotel put a big dampener on our travels. The first night our room had been robbed and also on the 3rd night. According to locals theft at this place has been on the rise and is thought to be within the staff there. Which would explain why they didn’t seem too bothered. The woman at reception/owner really needs to learn some people skills, most rude and arrogant person I have ever come across

Great location very uncomfortable beds
Our room was in separate building across the street from the resort the beds squeaking all night every time you move. Every time you take a shower the whole bathroom fills with water, You can access the pool in the main resort across the street near the beach and it’s nice. Location is amazing if you’re going to the full moon party but you might have to put up with discomfort.

What a great find.
What a great find. The complex is right by the harbour area, and is just 2 min walk to the Had Rin beach area where the full moon party is held. We stayed for 3 nights and it has a great pool to chill by in the day. The room we stayed in was first class, and great value for the money. Highly recommend it as a place to stay.

We got upgraded for free to one of the sea view rooms, it was beautiful! The staff couldn’t help enough. All I could complain about was the water pressure in the shower was terrible, it pretty much dribbled water rather than a proper shower.

This property was absolutely fantastic. Please book a deluxe sea view bungalow, it’s so worth the extra money. Great location, the pool is huge and the bar & restaurant great for breakfast, lunch, snacks and cocktails.

Good property for Koh Phangan
Great location, near action but far enough away it was noisy when trying to sleep. Mattress were quite uncomfortable and bedding was stained. Staff very nice.

Stayed here for the full moon party. The pros were that it was a close walk about 5 minutes to the full moon party but far enough away to get sleep if needed. We upgraded our room to a room over the sea which was lovely. The pool is good and the bar staff are amazing. The cons are that there a steep dangerous steps to some of the rooms (hence the upgrade) we didn't want to chance it after a night at the full moon. The family that own the hotel are very rude and unhelpful, we ran into them at a bar at the full moon party where they was charging 40 baht to use the toilet which is not uncommon. They was also extremely annoyed that we wanted to change rooms and spoke to each other in thai clearly about us. I felt that the did not care about the guests and more concerned about money. The shower in our room was freezing all the time and there are no mirrors next to any sockets which is just what you want when you're trying to get ready for a party. There are bugs everywhere and I mean everywhere. Prepare to get bit even with a repellent that has over 95% deet. I would not stay here again due to the owners, which is a shame as it is at a beautiful location right next to the pier.

Nice place, clean, big enough for two persons, big balcony and refrigerator, great pool, located 5 seconds (!) walk from the Haad rin pier, 4 minutes walk to the main beach, quiet enough, close to markets and resraurants.

The room I was in (130) had no view. It opened to a wall from another building. The pool is not operated by the resort, but rented out to a business woman. She got upset when I brought my own bottled water to the pool.

Very nice resort. Closes resort to the ferry. About a 5-10 walk to the full moon party beach, but far enough away to sleep peacefully from the full moon party stuff.

Overpriced drinks and food as well as overpriced for a room that has almost no english employees, no tv, bugs in the beds, a broken air conditioner, and people can walk through your back porch and steal your debit card like they did mine. Would have been cooler sleeping on the beach like i did last night and might not have been robbed

Overall great hotel, pay the extra $ and get the ocean view room. Newer rooms, less walking, much more natural light, and nicer finishes. My brother got the jungle view and I much preferred my ocean view room.

Very close to pier. Nice hut style accomodation.
Walk in shower room which isn't modern. Nontheless the room was nice and comfortable. Staff were helpful. I left my rucksack and they sent it to me at my next destination!!...was really nice of them.

This hotel is close to the wharf on Haad Rin Nai opposite of Haad Rin Nok (full moon party beach). The staff are incredibly unfriendly we were not made to feel welcome at all. No water in the bathrooms. No wifi. We came back after a day out and someone or something had come into the room and left paw prints everywhere. When showering the water would just shut off randomly and we did not receive any help with this. There are cheaper and better accommodations in Haad Rin. Would not stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay here. The front desk guy at the reception seemed a bit jaded since we arrived on the night of the Full Moon Party. Perhaps they're expecting rude tourists who come and trash the place, which we definitely didn't do. Either way, he didn't seem excited to see us or offer a smile, but that can be typical in Thailand. The rest of the staff was lovely, including the servers at the pool. Breakfast is apparently only included for certain rooms, so we didn't get that. The pool area is gorgeous. Beware: There is NO WIFI in the rooms. It's in the pool area only and good luck getting any work done. We had a room near the pool so on occasion it would reach over, but it wasn't reliable at all. Additionally, the key is what turns the electricity on and off so if you leave your room, there's no way to charge any electronics. You have to be there for them to charge, and the outlets were a bit difficult to get to and were few and far between. We were promised a double bed but when we arrived, it was two twin beds. Overall, we were comfortable and enjoyed it.

Not a bad hotel if you get one of the better rooms or bungalows.The location is great however the hotel has mosquitos everywhere which I wonder if could be helped by doing away with the numerous water features around the complex as that encourages them to breed further,all in all not a bad place

A special kind of hell.
This is not a 3 star hotel by any stretch of the imagination. I stayed in room 5, that was in the back of the resort. There were stains on the curtains and walls, and the comforter didn't fit the bed. The floors of the actual room were clean, but the floors in the bathroom could've used a good scrubbing. My last day there it rained and everything in the room that was sitting near the Windows was drenched, they leaked and floor was drenched. They do not replace towels unless you ask. One day the power in our room stopped working completely, it was just our room (as it is common for entire streets to lose power). They came up to fix it, but offered no apology and acted like it was typical. The pool area is nice and it looked like some of the other rooms may have been nice, but we booked a few days before the full moon party and there was only one option for rooms. Make sure to keep the receipt for your cash deposit or the woman in the office will be quite nasty about giving you your 500baht deposit back, even if the room isn't damaged. It is close to the full moon party and if you are used to staying in hostels, then this will be ok for you.... However if you are an adult is accustomed to better accommodations then you should probably just stay drunk the entire time so you don't realize just how bad the room really is.

Room wasn't cleaned once during our stay, no clean towels, only 1 roll of toilet paper for the duration of the stay, I had to keep going to reception to ask for more. Buna not emptied and began to attract ants. Food at the resort wasn't very nice. Reception wasn't always manned and the staff were not friendly. would not go back

great location. steps away from the ferry and 10 min walk to full moon party. far enough to get some rest from all the noise and music. pretty sure there was bed bugs but pool area was beautiful!
