Nice stay

Great location a short 5/10 minute stroll to the beach. Hotel room was really clean. Large fridge was a bonus. Bed was comfy. Pool was nice and quiet. Suggestion for improvement is that the shower needs more pressure and was cold at times.

Definitely peaceful and restful. Pool was lovely to cool off in. Rooms were large and had everything you need. Try the nearby pizza place - best we had in Southeast Asia.

Very friendly staff and affordable, comfortable

The staff here go the extra mile to make sure your stay is comfortable and they are helpful will booking day trips and renting scooters. There is a nice pool, mini marts and small food shops near by, and the beach is an easy 4 minute walk to beach. The beach is clean and there are many good restaurants to try. Lim’s in Particular is very good, the Thai food exceptional and the staff wonderful. You can book direct at reception. I am not mentioning rates as this is not allowed on reviews. This is not a fancy resort, but super comfy beds and good AC, WiFi and TV makes it better than many more expensive resorts in the area. Would definitely stay again

Ok place to spend a few nights

We only stayed for one night. Decent place with a good pool. It's a 5 minute walk to the beach. Lack of a screen door or mosquito netting a concern. Also the AC kept shutting off every now and then. The area also lost power at one point, but we were going out for the day, so didn't affect us directly. Overall, an OK place.

Great little resort!

Likely the best value of anywhere we stayed in Thailand. It's a short walk (not lovely, but short) to Long Beach. The beds were very comfy and the staff was just lovely. You can walk to a number of eateries, the tuk tuk fares are inexpensive for getting around. No food here, so if you don't like hunting for breakfast, make sure to bring simple fare. We picked up fresh fruit and cereal a few minutes' walk from the resort. It's a family place so the pool was noisy in the daytime. We got used to the prayer noise from the nearby mosque. Would absolutely stay here again. Excellent value!

Great stay

Mattress was hard, but the staff kindly swapped it for a softer one after the first night. It is on top of the hill so it is not so close to restaurants or bars, but with a scooter you have a peaceful, nice and cheap stay.

Peaceful stay at Peaceful

Absolutely loved our stay at Peaceful resort. Friendly and welcoming staff from reception through to housekeeping. Lovely spacious room with a terrace that looks over the pool , comfortable bed, big fridge, TV with many English channels. Would recommend hiring a bike to get around which you can do at reception

One bit of bad news on location, there is a mosque close by and they will start morning 5am prayers over a very loud speaker. It will wake you up. In my opinion the issue is community issue. We live in a world where everyone has a phone. The morning prayer can be an app alarm or some other communication transmission to Muslim community to conduct morning prayers. I know the app exists. Sorry Muslim community but how was this done before electricity and amplification. I could not return to this property because of issue. in my opinion the mosque and hotel property owners need to come together to address the issue of what the us calls "disturbing the peace" in hours of sleep. A mandatory wake up call at 5am while on vacation is not acceptable, in my opinion regardless mosque operations.

beautiful secluded resort bungalows

The hotel is a few hundred meters set back from the main beach boulevard, beautiful nature/mountain view and quiet. They offer hourly rides though (and I guess you could walk and also take a tuk tuk for a few baht). Rooms/bungalows are very nice, large with modern bathroom. We feel we got a great deal for a very reasonable price. We would definitely choose this hotel again.

Peaceful as the name suggests

One of the nicer hotels we had in Thailand - convenient location to Long Beach, nice pool, big rooms. The hotel staff was extremely helpful. Definitely recommend.

Great stay for decent price

Great stay here - we were surprised when we walked into the room as how nice it was after pulling up outside in the car. Only 2 min walk to the beach - island was a little deserted but only due to rain season. Nobody at reception after about 8pm but wasn't a problem. Only downside was being woken up early by loads of kids playing around in the pool, and they were there again in the afternoon which was kind of annoying. Mentioned it to the man on reception and he swiftly kicked them out (which we then felt bad about) but overall good stay and really decent for the price!

You will not leave the island!

These have to be the rudest staff of anywhere I have stayed. When we were leaving, they booked a taxi for us, even though I had not requested this and had made my own arrangements. When I told them that I did not want their taxi, they became very angry and would not let us leave. We were a party of four, including my mother-in-law who is elderly. They would not let our taxi leave the hotel. When we tried to leave the hotel and get a tuk-tuk, they followed us and stopped the driver from taking us. They said to us "You will not leave the island!" Eventually I had to give them money to let us leave. I would say to anyone else - do not stay here!

Nice hotel near beach

Excellent hotel about 300 meters from the gorgeous Koh Lanta Long Beach. It is a little more South on the beach then a lot of the restaurants and other hotels which is nice for some quiet seclusion. Just a short walk on the beach to restaurants and bars. We paid a tuk tuk 160 Baht from Saladan Pier to get here when boats were first letting out, the hotel was able to get us a cheaper ride back. Reception was great, they organized a tour to Koh Rok for us leaving just an hour later for less than I could find online. The woman at the desk called several places for us as many were full last minute. It was also cheaper to book online so they let us stay in our room for the night and pay the next morning once they negotiated a better rate. Breakfast was a short ride away (one of the restaurants we had walked to on the beach the night before). Pool looked great, we did not go in as the beach was so close and there appeared to be a children's swimming lesson going on. Air con and electric will only work if the key is in the slot in the room. There were times we left it unlocked to keep the air con on and felt safe doing this. Beds were a little hard but everywhere we went in Thailand we experienced this. Rooms were clean and modern and had a nice balcony over the pool. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends, family or anyone else. Especially for the price!

We loved this hotel. The staff were friendly and they even allowed us to have a late check out due to us not catching the ferry until mid afternoon. The pool was great and the rooms were spacious and clean. Great shower and air con. Such a cheap price to pay for a lovely stay Thank you for having us stay

Peaceful Resort

It is a lovely new resort belonging to the same family who own Lanta Beach Resort. It has a new beautiful pool and plenty of sunbeds although not much shade. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Although no tea or coffee in the room at reception there was constant hot water and free tea and coffee any time. It is 300 m back from the lovely beach but the path is not lit at night so take a torch. Breakfast is served on the beach at Lanta Beach Resort. We will certainly return there.

perfectly peaceful!

I stayed here for three nights. This hotel is very new and the rooms, the area and the pool all reflect this. Everything feels clean and like it's good quality. The pool just opened the 01.11.2015 and is amazing and clean. It is only missing sunbeds. The hotel is situated in a perfect location. About two minutes walk from the main road where you will find small shops and restaurants in either direction. It is also about 5 minutes walk from the beautiful Long beach. The hotel itself is in between trees and palm trees which makes you feel like the hotel is located in nature away from all the hustle and bustle of traffic and so on. The laundry service did a great job and the owners are really nice. Definitely recommend this place.

Not The Friendliest

I believe that it is called Peaceful House for a reason, as this hotel is an oasis of calm. Our room was clean, and comfortable but did not have a safe to protect my belongings. It was also strangely alarming as well that we locked our door with a padlock, and not a traditional door handle and lock. I should make a complaint about the services offered as well, as both our friends and ourselves were rented motorbikes with flat tires. Upon mentioning this to the staff, we were yelled at and accused and they tried to make us pay for the tire (which was flat upon delivery). It is also unsafe to rent someone a motorbike with such conditions, and most of our day was spent finding places to refill the tire or walking the motorbike back to the hotel. It is terrible customer service to yell at people instead of listening to them. Bring your rental business elsewhere. This hotel doesn't have a pool area, but is walking distance to the nearby beach.

New hotel, ok location

We had booked a bungalow room, but on check-in they said those were full and offered us free breakfast with the room in the main building. The rooms are all new and of good standard, which makes the hotel a comfortable place to stay. The hotel has no restaurant therefore they offer free lifts to their sister hotel (Lanta Palm Beach) for breakfast or you can walk down the foot path to the beach and then 5 minutes along the beach. The foot path to the beach is about 100 metres. The path has patches in bad condition and some very muddy (not ideal). The staff at the hotel were quite helpful when needed. The toilets at the Lanta Palm Beach restaurant were pretty bad. There is a little super market accross the road. If you want to go to a restaurant in the centre of Long Beach it's a short tuk tuk ride. From what I could work out the ideal location would be the La Casarina hotel. Ie on the main Long Beach and close to town.

We didn't stay. We had a room reserved for Dec 30th thru Jan 1st. Upon arrival we were told they accidentally overbooked so they had to send us to the Blue Andaman hotel which the owner said it was 2 min away and we agreed to "check it out". It was actually about 15 minutes drive south when we wanted to be within walking distance to long beach for the New year. The blue Andaman area was terrible, the beach was covered in rocks so Nobody was out and the room was like a cheap motel. We immediately called the owner and told him we did not want to stay here and that wanted our money back. First the guy sounded either stoned or drunk, then he says he already gave the other hotel the money and that they do not do refunds. We never agreed to this and had to call hotels.com to get it resolved. We ended up changing our ferry tickets and found a hotel back in Phuket because nothing was available in Lanta for New Years.

300m gångväg till Long beach stranden. Lösa apor kan dyka upp men är ovanligt vid hotellet. Mycket trevlig personal och även ”vaktmästaren” som bjöd på en av trädgårdens kokosnötter(Gjode iordning en för att dricka ur). Frukosten var ok enligt Thailändsk standard. Nära till bra och billig streetfood och restaurang på samma sida av väg.(ca 150m). Finns många andra restauranger att välja på.

Los cuartos no son tan chicos, el acceso a la playa es rápido por la parte trasera del mismo hotel y es tranquilo. Hay una señora de limpieza que es muy amable y prácticamente la que siempre te atiende a todo porque en recepción nunca encuentras a nadie solo cuando hice check Inn de ahí jamás volví a ver a alguien en recepción ni en el check out tuve que dejar las llaves con la señora de limpieza y mis días de estancia no me hicieron limpieza ni me dejaron artículos de higiene personal.

Giriga dubbelbokare!

Vid incheckning visade det sig att vårt rum inte fanns och att vi skulle bo första natten på ett helt annat och sämre resort utan pool en halv kilometer bort bort. När jag sa att vi i så fall vill bli kompenserade erbjöds vi en lunch. Vi tackade nej till den erbjudna lunchen och sa att vi kommer att kontakta Hotels.com istället. Vi ville inte stå utan boende och flyttade in på den andra resorten. Där fanns en handduk för både strand och dusch så att man blev tvungen att gå omvägen förbi receptionen varje gång man gick från stranden för att byta till en ren handduk. Efter vi checkat in på den nya resorten kontaktade vi Hotels.com som i sin tur kontaktade Peaceful. De vägrade att låta oss avboka de två kvarvarande nätterna som vi då skulle ha bott hos dem, men då vårt förtroende för dem var förbrukat ville vi inte det utan tyckte att givet att de inte uppfyllde sin del att ha vårt bokade rum tillgängligt den första natten eskalerade vi ärendet hos Hotels.com. Många turer senare gick Peaceful med på att återbetala den första natten, men inte de andra två nätterna. Vi fick alltså betala för två av tre nätter för att bo på ett sämre hotell än vi bokat! Vi tycker att Peacul Resort gott kunde ha låtit oss boka av två nätter när de inte kunde leverera sin del av avtalet även den första natten. Girigt och uselt! Efter ytterligare turer med Hotels.com fick vi en kompensation av dem för en övernattning till ett värde om ca 1500 kr att lösa in inom ett år. Så det ordnade sig till sist.

Mycket trevlig personal och rymligt rum. Sköna sängar och trevligt poolområde. En kortare promenad (5 min) till stranden och då hamnar man på en lugnare del av Long Beach.

The staff was super friendly! The place doesn't have a restaurant but breakfast is served in a beach restaurant and we didn't have any problems with the loation. They provide a tuktuk-ride but it's not a long walk either. Beach is close and the pool of the hotel was quite peaceful. I would go there again.

酒店总体还算不错，服务员非常热情，尤其是那个瘦瘦的小伙子，帮着拿行李，找吃的，订外出浮潜的船，还有找马杀鸡。酒店很安静，离海滩需要走10分钟左右，附近有早餐，还有旅游小店可以租摩托车、汽车、订船票。加税后整体一间房500多人民币，在假期有点偏贵，看有的app平时有的时间也就300左右。不好的地方是下水管道堵了，说了两次也没人来弄，只好自己动手，可能堆积了很久吧，很脏。有两间房，一间不错，另外一间很闷不透气，而且空调对着头吹，不科学。关了又太闷热，两个晚上都没休息好。
