Next on the list for improvement should be replace mattresses. Fantastic stay Rose was so helpful. We took an Uber on Saturday night to the Island for dinner. It came in 7 mins. Unable to get an Uber for over an hour on the way back. Arranged another ride back to hotel. Lovely area. Lovely town

Lovely inn. Great friendly place to stay. Downside was load shedding with the absence of any additional electrical generator which meant that when we left our phones and iPads weren’t charged and the night was hot . Lack of electricity meant no fans or air conditioning so room was very hot. Lovely lady looks after this inn. She is definitely a plus point.

It’s such a pretty accomodation and feels a lot homely with personalised service. The rooms are beautiful prepared with tiny little details including in the bathroom. I would stay at the same place if I go back to this town. Highly recommend staying there

Superb Two Night Stay
Wonderful host. Nice touch having honesty bar. In a quiet area of town. Breakfast had good selection, made to order and better than most hotels. Lovely to have it sitting by the pool. Great view from room to the Heads. Room spotless and very comfortable with the en suite modern and well equipped.

Orange Inn is an excellent accommodation, with first rate facilities and extremely helpful staff. The manager, Charlotte, was very professional, friendly and helpful. Location very easy to find, with good access to the harbourside facilities yet easy to get to local beauty spots

Frustration - Inn closed;
The Inn was closed. We rang the bell for a long, long time. We arrived at 4:30 p.m. No one to answer the bell. The phones I had in my reservation either did not answer or did not even ring. After about 30 minutes we left to look for another place to stay.

Hotel in the making
Parking the car needs some experience. The rooms were clean an friendly. They were lacking some electrical amenities, some doors could not be closed. Service was ok. Pool nice, surrounded by lawn, where you could relax. breakfast near the pool. BUT: As we left, we learned from the manager that the hotel had just changed management only a few weeks ago and that maintenance and renovation works were due the coming week.

Lovely guest house on the outskirts of Knysner
We had an excellent two days at Knysna Stays. Lloyd and his staff were so helpful in giving us information about the area. We drove round the area and looked at points of interest. The apartment was immaculate and even had a washing machine which we made use of. Tables were set by the pool each morning for breakfast. There was a good choice including a freshly cooked English breakfast.

The best Host in Knysna
We had an enjoyable stay at Knysna Stays.. On arriving a little bit too early we could not enter the premises, as the gates were locked. Security was tight and this was good to see. After ringing the number provided we were welcomed by Rose who was so obliging, and a great conversationalist (just up my husbands alley!!!). We booked twin beds as this was the only available room on the day, and Rose went our of her way to re arrange the room so the beds could be together. We got upgraded the next day to an apartment. This was a nice gesture .Our host and owner LLyod was so helpful and recommended lots of places to visit and gave good advice on where to go. He also invited my husband to play a game of golf with him and his friends at the Simola Golf Course. While I was not invited to be the caddy, I still enjoyed the scenery and driving the golf cart!!!! . It was a fun day.

Lovely guest house in Knysna
This was a wonderful place to stay during our Knysna adventure. The staff is so kind and welcoming and the style of the hotel is that it almost feels like a real home so it is very cosy. The views of the lagoon are also wonderful and the proximity to the waterfront is very easy.

Our holiday spent st the Knysna Stsys guest house was excellent.The accommodation was of a very high standard and a great location to visit all the stunning areas along the Garden Route. Owner Lloyd, Manager Rose, and all the well-trained staff know that their job is to give guests a great carefree experience. This place punches way above its price. Nothing is too much trouble, and the property is brand spanking new. Immediately following my booking Lloyd personally emailed me with suggested driving tour itineraries, and notwithstanding this, also appeared every breakfast time with printed weather forecasts for each guest, and ensured that every guest was fully geared to a planned day - whether a day of relaxation by the Pool, or a day out to a place of recommendation determined by the weather. He and Rose could not have been more helpful. Again, honest restaurant recommendations proved extremely successful with us. Wonderful to see such a hardworking team being so successful. A useful policy of upgrading rooms whenever possible might tempt you to book a cheaper room, but do beware ! This place is becoming extremely popular and the chances of getting the upgrade are becoming correspondingly slim ! Don't hesitate to book here. You won't regret it.

Great Guest House with a beautiful view to the sea
A friend and I stayed 1 night at Knysna Stays and really loved it. We were lucky to get upgraded to a bigger room since the Guest house was not full - so got a beautiful suite with a big terrasse overlooking the sea. The room was really beautiful decorated and very comfortable and the terrasse was just superb. The breakfast was served next to the pool area and was one of the best breakfast we had on our whole trip in South Africa. The owner was really helpful and gave us some good tips about our onwards journey. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone and come back again if I get the chance.

Very pleased overall with our stay. We had the Wilderness Apartment, which was well equipped & spacious. Staff were very friendly & Lloyd made a point each morning of checking all was okay with his guests & offering advice & suggestions with their itineraries. Would highly recommend.

I found this guest house on the internet and I could not be more pleased with the choice. Lloyd, the owner was extremely helpful and incredibly knowledgeable about the surrounding areas. This made it easy to choose sights to see and places to eat. He was spot on each time! The guesthouse was lovely with a clean modern look but equally very inviting and homely atmosphere. Rose who works at the guesthouse was always willing to help and had a really warm demeanour. I loved everything about the place from the location with the beautiful views to the wonderful service at Knysna Stays. Well done!

Just back from a lovely three night break at Knysna Stays. Only one regret - we had'nt booked to stay longer! The accomodation is bang up to date, very trendy, clean with a view from our suite towards Knysna bay..bliss, . On arrival Lloyd, the Proprietor, took my partner and I out on a tour of the beauty spots of Knysna for over an hour...we couldn't believe our luck it was like having a personal tour guide and set us up for our stay!! Lloyd and Trish were super friendly, helpful with nothing to much bother and provided us with great local knowledge about restaurants, excursions etc etc. My partner and I will be returning to stay at this guest house on our next visit and would highly recommend other travellers to stay there to. ** The breakfasts were amazing with very efficient service from staff**

Knysna Stays - a stylish, welcoming base
This was a very well-presented guest house providing an excellent base for exploring the Knysna area. Lloyd and the staff made us feel very welcome and went out of their way to help us get the most from our stay. The room was really comfortable and finished to a high specification with some very nice decorative touches. Lloyd kept us informed of the best places to visit and to eat locally, helping with bookings and transportation too - really useful!

Leider hatten wir vom Balkon direkt den Blick zur Waschküche/Bügelküche, zwar auch etwas zur Lagune, hatten uns trotzdem einen etwas anderen Ausblick zur Lagune gewünscht. Insgesamt war in Knysna nicht viel lis, allerdings war auch das Wetter nicht immer so gut. Lokale gibt es, sind allerdings 2 x nach Sedgefield zu Rosies Steakhaus gefahren, das immer wieder gut ist!!@

Knysna bietet sich als Zwischenstopp auf der Garden Route an. Das Orange Inn ist ein modernes, sauberes und sehr empfehlenswertes B&B mit sehr freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Personal. Wir hatten ein gutes Frühstück, ein Zimmer mit tollen Ausblick und sehr großem modernen Bad. Wir können das Orange Inn weiter empehlen!

Perfect place to stay in Knysna
Orange Inn is perfect! Breakfast is super excellent. Great location and near the heads and the waterfront. Knysna Elephant park is only 15 minutes away. Our room was excellent with a view of the lagoon. The staff was also great, and we felt very much home!
