The room was musty and dingy. It just didn’t feel clean. Sheets and towels looked like they had stains on them that just wouldn’t wash out. Patch work on the ceiling from water damage exploded in the middle of the night. Could have just been our room but I would not stay again here or likely another Red Roof.

It's convenient for UT graduation. I just couldn't relax because sink and tub not clean. Bed made but looked like someone had been sitting on it when I came in the room.

This hotel have a great potential, few of the amenities (pool)were closed due to the cold weather and the hot tub/jacuzzi (out of order)

Close to the events I was attending and walking distance from various restaurants.
The hotel is below average with not so friendly front desk lady. The room had that musty smell, beds were uncomfortable and the sink was backed up.

Homeless Hotel
When I was first checking in a few drug addicts/homeless were checking in in front of me. The hostess seemed to be attentive to it and gave them a warning about being on good behavior so it comforted me. I thought a good samaritan bought them a night or something…..well… it appears as though all of the homeless in Knoxville stay at this hotel. They were wandering around cars at night “looking for their car they cant find”. This happened both nights we weee there and different people. It felt pretty sketch. The hotels next door are a LOT nicer and didn’t seem to have the same activity. It was very strange. I never felt unsafe here, but I would be worried to stay here with children. The hotel rooms didn't seem like they were cleaned very well—then I wondered what drugs I was sleeping/showering with from all the sketch people staying here.
They did have a nice spread at the hot breakfast each morning. The breakfast area/lobby were very nice and kept clean.
