"was able to check in early for a £15 fee
room was clean and comfortable although tiny
kept awake by doors being slammed all night
location was good
nice stay but overall nearly £200 for a night was a bit steep"
"The staff were friendly and kind, the room was clean. However, for me personally, the room didn’t match the price point. I stayed in the presidential room and it was very underwhelming. Buildings mostly blocked the view of the river which was the main attraction for me booking this room. Overall, it was nice but expensive for what it is."
"I have stayed at this hotel several times, and it's been going through upgrades since I believe new ownership; it's now a self-check-in, although there are staff in the reception to help. I was on this trip in one of the older 10th-floor non-refurbished rooms, described as an 'Executive Room'.... well, executive it isn't. Tiny, not the size specified on the website, and with amenities out of the 90s, a broken, empty fridge and a VERY narrow 'compact' double bed. A tiny old TV which would not work.
When I arrived, there was a lack of towels and toilet paper, but I sent a WhatsApp message in response to the hotel's check-in WhatsApp, and these were brought up to the room within 30 minutes, which was great, thanks to a fantastic member of the house staff. If you do not have WhatsApp, I think you're snookered, as there is no telephone in the room at all, so the only way to talk to staff is via WhatsApp or to go all the way down to reception. There is also no room service!
I have to say, the staff are always fantastic, but for £180 a night... I would hope for more!"
"Good location close to transport links with boat and bus. Nice staff and lobby area.
Room was creaky and old, floor boards creaking. Step down to toilet which was easy to hit your foot on with no nosing on the edge. Wheels of the bed sticking out which I stubbed my toe on. Walls are thin so can hear room neighbours talking and people running up and down the hallway.
No ammenities such as tea, coffee, water in the room and no fridge.
Overall okay room for 1 night stay with consideration to price and location."
"Lovely reception/lobby, but the corridor and room were in desperate need of refurbishment (Tired carpets and peeling wallpaper.) The location was great and close to the airport. I feel overall the staff could have been more friendly, professional, and helpful. I attempted to order room service, however, I had to call six times before receiving a call back."
"There was no help when I arrived. The staff was all confused and not welcoming given the hotel had lost electricity and they were managing removing people from rooms. As new guests arrived they were not immediately communicating the electrical issues. Guests had to find their own alternative accommodations."
