I had booked another hotel and was shocked at the state of it (no AC and not really a hotel), so quickly left and my driver recommended Onomo. I am so glad he did! It was modern, well air-conditioned, had a good simple gym & a delish breakfast!

Great facility, Service can be improved
The service was good and the facility is still new and done to great standard. The room was much smaller than standard, the wardrobes quite short for long garments like jackets and trousers Suprise that the hotel does not offer room service, given that some guests could arrive after hours for the kitchen

I liked the quality of the property, price and rooms size. I did not like the inability to use the Pool as it is used as more of an entertainment space than a poool that can be used for guest swimming, this should be changed.

The hotel is clean. Very supportive and helpful staff. The location is great for all location. The breakfast is nice it number of varieties to choose from. I didn’t like the small cupboard close to the bed and the toilet door should be better if it close up to the top. Overall it’s a great and beautiful hotel. I recommend for anyone to stay in this hotel.

The hotel is very clean, modern and comfortable. It is the second time I stay there and would stay there again. The service is friendly, but sometimes staff is a bit slow. Other than that, all good.

It could be great but not yet.
I wouldn't book to stay here again, it has the basic foundation of a great hotel but execution was very poor on all fronts. If you need access to the internet and you are staying here, buy a 4G sim card with plenty of data, the wifi is infuriating! All round service needs serious development but meal service was painstakingly slow. Photos of the gym are not representative and equipment works intermittently.

Hotel obviously has a beautiful pool and patio, however, most of the staff is outright terrible. First of all, the manager is the only white person from the hotel. Then there are about five people behind the front desk at all times, with one of them wispering to you, three staring, and one lady - with short hair, British accent - who barks around orders. Above all, laundry was an absurd 35,000 and every meal had to either be pre-paid or paid on the spot.

Onomo Hotel is one of the best hotels I’ve had the pleasure of staying at. It’s impeccably clean and the staff are all courteous and welcoming. The pool and terrace has a beautiful view of Kigali and the price per night is very reasonable. Our room came with a very tasty buffet breakfast. We also used the laundry services and were very impressed with how our clothes came back looking like new. The only recommendation I have is to improve their environmental practices by getting rid of plastic water bottles in the room by offering glass water bottles with fill stations in other areas of the hotel.

Reasonable hotel for Kigali. Competitively priced, and well-positioned. New hotel, and comfortable. Staff need to more proactive in delivering customer satisfaction. Definitely fills a gap in the market.
