Friendly staff, large rooms with a balcony to sit out on overlooking the pool. Towels were very thick. Pool staff was great bringing drinks or food to you.

Room was nice and had a great view of the pier/ water...staff friendly and helpful. Thought it was odd that the building did not require use of room key card to enter. That presents a security issue in my mind.

The location of the Opal Key was excellent with walking distance to Duval Street and other attractions. The resort itself was clean but really needs some updating. The price paid does not reflect the condition of the property.

They have everything you will need to fully enjoy your trip . On the water , great sunset view , great food , nice big rooms , I loved seeing the cruise ship docked in front , don’t worry it comes in early and leaves before sunset

Staff hotel service was terrible. We didn't get our breakfast coupons like others did in our group had to argue . Then our valet kept our car keys we had to turn around hour and half and return to hotel they didn't meet us half way sucks

Had minor problem with our room. The hotel manager called us immediately and got it straightened out fast. Very impressive hands-on management. Would stay again. Cool restaurant right on the water. Centrally located. Class act.

Our bartender Mike was phenomenal. The one thing that needs to be addressed is size of pool and pool area. Could never get chairs or enjoy area. Needed a place to relax and swim. Could also use thicker blankets for the beds. But we will definitely be back.

I was extremely disappointed in the room. I booked a standard queen room on a TU night in April. The hotel is not full and there are plenty of rooms . But they put us in a 1st floor handicap accessible room with a connecting door on the first floor 2 doors from the elevator. I know there were much better rooms because when we checked in they inquired on another room but it wasn’t ready . We checked in at 6:00PM.! And I texted our arrival time at noon. Even though I’m only here for 1 night I feel that this is a sub-par accommodation especially for the price that we paid and the fact that the hotel is not full. I don’t feel that this is the kind of customer service that would keep me as a customer or recommending to my family and friends . All in all I have to say that I’m disappointed in overall accommodations.

Overall we enjoyed our stay at Opal Key. Our room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The hotel staff were helpful and pleasant. We were not particularly impressed with the restaurant and lounge, but they were adequate and there are a lot of options within walking distance. We paid extra for an ocean view room. I wouldn’t bother if we return. There was a massive (and ugly) cruise ship parked next to the hotel and blocking our view much of our stay.

Loved that they had a concierge desk for activities. Also loved the San Pelegrino in the lobby as well as coffee in the morning. They have mini fridges with waters socked all over the hotel. The location is amazing. Walking distance to activities and shopping, lots of restuarants. We loved our time there.

The property is very centrally located to the Key West hot spots and has a beautiful view of the water when cruise ships are not in port, which is just about every day. The free orange juice (delicious) and coffee in the lobby each morning is a nice touch. The elevators need a big-time face lift. Staff is awesome, friendly and helpful. Pool chair savers are going to save and that's just rude!
