They hided additional charges, told us breakfast was not included even when our booking said it was. Its a shame they are not honest with all of the prices. They are on maintenance nothing to do on the hotel and still so overpriced seems not worthy.

Property was under construction. No pool or dining. The AC was broke had to leave early and wasn’t willing to compensate our room for the inconvenience. A big disappointment of a trip, especially for our 15th Anniversary trip.

The property is under construction and it was very hot in Key West. Room was very warm. I complained and they said they would send someone, not sure If they did. Pool was closed and under construction. I booked a king and they gave me two queen. This is a very good location and they had free bicycles. Would try it again when it’s done with renovations.

Horrible experience. The AC in the room didn’t work and it was 88 degrees out. Whole hotel was under construction and Expedia didn’t warn us. Pool was closed and only one elevator worked. I was guaranteed a refund and changed hotels because Expedia told me to and now after I paid for another hotel they are telling me they can’t give me my thousand dollars back and tried to offer me a 50 dollar voucher. I will be taking them to court

The room was extremely small. There was no place to open a suitcase or put your clothes. Staff was rude. We have stayed here many times before under the previous ownership but we will not be back.

I stayed at this hotel many years ago and enjoyed it so we booked again. The hotel is under heavy renovation which is understandable. The hotel was clean enough but seemed a little rundown (elevator, hallways, etc.) The room we stayed in was updated but the air conditioning wasn’t great. On a plus note, the staff were very friendly and you can’t beat the location.

The property was under construction. The pool was closed and under construction and the bar was under construction. The hotel explained that we can use a pool at another hotel and when we tried to book it was full and we were not able to swim at all. The hotel also charged us 134.70 for incidentals ? We did not take anything from the room or eat anything from the refrigerator or use the coffee maker or coffee. Do not book this hotel if you want to be inconvenienced

We were suppose to check in at 4pm. The front desk staff stated that another guest isn’t leaving the room we were assigned until 4pm. So it wouldn’t be cleaned for a couple hours after that. They would not give us a different room. After continuously asking for a different room, they finally gave us one. The pool is also under construction and there aren’t convenient alternative options. The front desk staff wasn’t friendly. I would not stay here again

I would not recommend staying at this hotel to anyone. I was there to celebrate a 50'th birthday with my significant other and while we were disappointed the pool was under construction, we were understanding the construction really is no one's fault. We were told upon check in the reservations to use another facility's pool were completely booked for that day, we would get on the reservation list for tomorrow. Tomorrow came and after waiting for 15 minutes while the host scrambled trying to find the reservation he made for us the day before, he had failed and we could not use a pool that day either? We could, however, get on the reservation list for the next day. We were checking out that day. The host told us he felt awful and would comp our amenity charges and the parking charges for our visit. We thanked him and went to make other plans now that a pool was no longer in our vacation plans. We were also told we could go to the pool at Dante's if we wanted, but upon arrival, it was definitely not our scene, it was something reminiscent of MTV spring break pool parties from the 90's? We checked out early the next morning and I asked for an itemized bill to make sure the amenity and parking charges were taken off. They were, until we got about 2 hours down the road and I received DUPLICATE bills for the extra charges. We will be calling our credit card company to remedy the error. Unfortunate circumstances I understand, lying and deception by staff is unacceptable.

We made the reservation through Expedia, which we always use for everything, we are gold customers for many years. The hotel is under construction and they did not warn us before reserving the room, and the room that was reserved is totally different from the one in the photo and reserved on the website, we have stayed there several times in the same hotel and that has never happened, also the air conditioner was not working and to make matters worst there was no soap and they told us they don’t have. We came to Key West for my birthday, we drove 5 hours to get to the hotel. We put the claim with Alma, she said that the supervisor would call. We called again a couple of hours ago, we spoke with Jeremías and he said that the supervisor, Cristian K, would call, and he still hasn't called... We do everything through Expedia, they always solve it for us... another very important thing. When we arrived at the hotel where there were new people and they realized that it was through Expedia, they treated us bad and that's why they gave us the worst room, something that had never happened to us before in that hotel, we have been with EXPEDIA for many years. We hope the manager contacts us and gives us all the money back… Thank you

The staff was excellent. The breakfast buffet was good but some variety from day to day would be nice. Renovations still ongoing so construction noise was a problem during the day if your room was near the jackhammering.

I am so disappointed in my stay at La Concha. They failed to inform us that the hotel was under major construction. It was so loud, the building rattled. The pool also is closed, which is the whole reason why we came. When I showed up to the hotel and even during check in they did not disclose this information. They provided no discount or accommodations. The hotel rooms smelled musty and moldy. My head was spinning by the end of the day. I couldn’t sleep and I woke up with a headache. I am 6 months pregnant. We needed to check out early for my health. To be honest, the hotel should be shut down till construction is over. Please avoid this hotel!

Very rude and unprofessional staff. Worst check in experience - lady checking us in was very rude and unprofessional and was getting irritated by routine questions about property, like where is the parking, is there bellman service available etc. Property itself is very rundown and undergoing renovations.

The hotel was under construction!!! The elevators we used by the construction workers taken a long time get, the noise in the lobby/bar/breakfast area sooo loud you couldn’t stand to be in the area. The pool was closed, the gym was closed, the roof top deck was closed! Our room with a king bed had no room to walk around the end of the bed…

Love it! The staff is so accommodating and welcoming. The rooms have niiiice space, we didn’t feel smooshed together! The unannounced construction was a bit of a bummer…but we can’t wait to see the outcome!

The newly renovated rooms do not provide storage for clothing. The shower floor was very slippery & was an accident waiting to happen. We were not informed that our breakfast was part of our stay. We paid $129.00 resort fee but only had breakfast the last day we were there after asking the waiter.

We stayed Monday through Saturday for Spring Break. Hotel was under renovation. Very clean. Friendly and attentive staff. Breakfast buffet with good food and fruit options. Pool was okay - pretty small, but with an upper level patio with bar, on 2nd level low rooftop. Rooms are decent size. Thin walls - could hear my neighbors tv blasting at night. The shower needed some sealant because water would leak while showering. Right on Duval St. - in the middle of all the action. Walking distance to everything. No need to rent a car or Uber around.

Second time we have stayed here. It was unseasonably cool in Key West during our stay. We did not realize building had no heat system as most (all?) buildings in KW. We got some extra blankets and slept comfortably but room got pretty cool in the evenings before bedtime. Renovation seems to violate the historic feel of the establishment.
