Positives: Location of the hotel (in Thamel), interiors, staff and service was very good. Rooms were quite small and as it is winter, it was very cold when we checked in and we struggled a bit to sleep in until the centralised heating picked up. They need to look at better heating options to keep the guest warm and comfortable in the winters. Breakfast is good, however the dining option at the in-house restaurant isn’t great, lacks taste, quality is bad (worst paneer) and the portions are tiny (felt like baby portions) for the prices they charge. We just didn’t bother eating at the hotel after our day 1 experience.
