"We truly enjoyed our stay at the Regent! Its proximity to the beach and La Mer (retail and dining complex with a Euro Mediterranean feel) made this an awesome experience - it puts you in to vacation mode stat! The property is a tad bit dated but still clean, the towels are old, it no longer looks out on to the sea because of La Mer and the adjacent Indian restaurant, but makes no difference in the end. "The hotel was beautiful, the interior, exterior, pool area and views. The staff were friendly and always willing to help you. The food was excellent. Our only criticism with half board is that it was very disappointing to not be given at least a bottle of water with our meal and be expected to pay £8 for a bottle, especially as water was delivered freely to your room every day. We visited all the restaurants and the food was of a high standard. However, we were disappointed that the steak restaurant options available to half board customers did not include any steaks. On the whole we had a fantastic holiday here and would definitely recommend this hotel."
