Arriving at the gate, no keys left. 1 hour trying to reach anyone who can help. Eventually someone answered. Double bookin, permises fully booked. They checked me in at another hotel apprt, smaller appartment, promisses to re embers. . Nothing so far after a week. Very disappointing

The linens were stained and saw blood in the bedsheet. My apartment was never cleaned whiles I was there. Overall bad experience due to the fact argues needs does mean anything to the property managers

Great position, close to Sandton, safe area. The property is comfortable. If you had a problem, it was hard to find anyone to help you. Office only open 8am to 4.00pm, and not on weekends. There were 4 of us, but only 3 forks, 2 small plates, 6 very large wine glasses, no small drinking glasses. We tried ringing the offices several times re internet code, but nobody answered.

The first apartment we stayed in was smelling of cigarette smoke. The next one did not have dish towels at all

Great, if you want an apartment
The Epic Apartments are spacious, modern and comfortable. They are well furnished although we stayed in 2 different apartments on 2 separate visits a few days apart. The 2nd apartment wasn't quite as good as the first. The lounge carpet in the second was quite badly stained and some crockery, cutlery and glassware was missing. Overall the Epic represents very good value for money. But it is an apartment and in some respects it is lacking. No hairdryer, no dishwashing liquid or cleaning cloths and the gym is very poorly equipped. A pity, because it wouldn't have taken much to significantly improve the overall experience.

Good location and value for money.
Good location, facilities are fine, just a few issues namely, bad smell (drain) in apartment. Wifi was not functional, reported twice and still no solution. Allocated parking bays were too fat from the lift to the apartment. Other than that overall stay was good.

The apartment it self was excellent. However I did have some major inconveniences. There was no television. They had promise to correct the issue but never did. There was no internet from 2pm until 8 am the following day. Again they promised to correct the issue but didn't. There was a strong odour coming out of the kitchen sink . It took them two days to flush the drains

Reasonably satisfied.
The experience was good.Its not our first time staying at the epic an I must say I think the service improved. A few small things like salt & pepper and corkscrews would make the stay a little bit more convenient.

Quiet, very comfortable apartment
Great apartment but little information in the apartment about locality and amenities/safety of area; tourist trips; brochures, which would have been helpful as we arrived on a weekend and the office was closed. The security person at the gate was wonderful and very helpful though. Was recommended to take taxis everywhere but Sandton City was easy walk during day, approx 20mins; taxis after dark for sure. Gautrain station by the Mall; easy to use. Can buy card at airport and just 'load' as required for further travel.

Very happy with the stay overall. Need to take a careful look at the apartment when you first check in to check for breakages etc. but once that's done the rest of the stay is very very satisfactory and exactly what I was hoping for.

Beautiful apartments in a very quiet place
This is by far the most comfortable stay I've ever had in any place. The apartment is absolutely beautiful. Everything is in great condition and clean. The staff were very friendly. It's hard to find anything wrong about this place.

great for business not for leisure
We used the apartment as a base for a family trip catching up with friends in jo'burg. We arrived before check in time and our apartment wasn't ready so we were asked if we could go have lunch or something and come back when we came back the manager/ check in staff had knocked off for the weekend so from Saturday afternoon until Monday morning there is noone to ask anything or to deal with any problems so very much left to your own devices. Apartment was well equipped and spotless but so busy around Sandton that would only stay at this location if you really need to be here.

Spacious apartments in Sandton location
I was traveling with my daughter and the apartment in Sandton provided a great place for us to stay. The apartments are quite large and fully equipped. It's conveniently located in Sandton close to Atholl Square.

this is a good alternative for those who are tired of hotel service. the apartments are ideal for couples of families, maybe a little remote if you are used to sandton square, but its an easy walk there if you need restaurants etc. The apartments dont have iron or hair dryer, an issue if you are a women, and my email to the company went unanswered. the cleaners were great though, they helped out with a couple of shirts to iron, and i bought a hairdryer to keep my partner happy to come to dinner. no cleaning on sundays

Appartement de qualité avec 2 chambres et 2 salle de bains. Confortable, il ne manque rien. Malheureusement en raison de la saison, nous avons eut froid (séjour en août). Dommage, nous étions au RDC dans un angle avec un bâtiment devant : manque de lumière !

Infelizmente meu voo atrasou por algumas horas. O apart simplesmente não tem ninguém para atender após as 16hs. Tive que ir para outro hotel e fazer check-in apenas no outro dia pela manhã. No primeiro dia de estadia a agua do apartamento inteira ficou gelada as 19hs. Novamente não havia ninguém para atender o telefone. Não recomendo para quem quer um mínimo de conforto. Para quem quer um apart hotel grande com dois quartos e cozinha, ok... Unfortunately my flight was delayed for a few hours. The apart simply has no one to attend after 4pm. Had to go to another hotel and check in only the other day in the morning. On the first day of the stay, the water in the whole apartment became cold at 7:00 pm. Again there was no one to answer the phone. Would not recommend to anyone who wants a minimum of comfort. For those who want a large apart hotel with two rooms and kitchen, ok ...
