Standard rooms very basic and small
We were given a room that had 13 steps to go up to. No elevator no ramp. Unexpected. Very nice staff. Nice to have restaurant there. Minimal vegan options and nothing for breakfast but fruit. Unexpected as most places we have good have vegan options. Room super small.

Excellent facilities the staff are exceptional service ,rooms and dining area is top class , one concern tried to call reception staff on numerous times and days no answer and no call back worries in emergency no contact other than that can’t fault the facility

Though about 30 mins from the airport, it is an ideal place to stay. Very secure. Has 3 shopping malls nearby ( though not walking distance away). The food is lovely . Great choice of drinks . Family friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone interested in visiting Johannesburg

Beautiful property , centrally located. The property has no shuttle service and doesn’t provide electronic converters which should be a minimum for a hotel with international travellers

Friendly staff but hotel has zero character.
Staff are friendly but the 2020 refurb of the hotel did away with any acceptable form of personal storage in the rooms. No drawers, just open storage, some of which is very low to the ground. Rooms are small, and not soundproofed. As there is loud music over the weekend, that's not a good experience. Hotel also has no business center. Previous cozy bar was removed in refurb and replaced by cafe style bar which completely lacks character. Could be in a mall. Good safe parking available.

Revamped hotel with great location and service
Great location near Sandton and Melrose Arch with a view over the Eastern suburbs. During Covid, the interior has been revamped to have a fresh new modern feel. Very comfortable. Service is a challenge during Covid-19 times, but staff was very friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed my stay. The weekend rate was exceptional value for money. Recommended!

Awesome stay - very neat and clean...enjoyed the space in the room compared to other hotel rooms we stayed in, it seemed to be much more spacious. Adherence to covid level 4 rules were on point. An overall enjoyable stay, definitely intending on booking again soon Regards

I had a great stay . Overall very warm staff and friendly . Will definitely stay there again . Its a pity l had dropped from platinum to gold so couldnt get the full benefits that l am used to like free breakfast but l did receive a complimentary upgrade .
