Okay experience
An okay stay. Hotel itself needs renovation, rooms are spacious but worn-out, quality of building deteriorated. Reception and check-in experience was great, yet overall experience is below average. Staff needs real up-skilling especially in Restaurant, one waiter doesn't know what 'maple syrup' is, staff put more time chatting together,...etc. Concierge service needs to be upgraded.

Ok stay.
Rooms are a bit dated, day staff at reception very friendly and helpful. Room hadnone towel had to ask many times for a second one, check in time on websie and on Hotel.com is wrong, check in anytime after 2pm. Breakfast was good

Apart from the lady at the restaurant at iftar all the staff were friendly. She was very rude and aggressive to me. She had this mentality in her that am a foreign so what ever happened she could get away with it.

Very nice hotel with traditional charm and architecture. Conveniently located on Medina Road to reach airport or the old town Al Balad. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, particularly Omar at the reception. Excellent restaurant in the hotel as well.

The receptionist "Elder" was very helpful at the check-in I can't of come across anyone helpful then him. Thank you Elder for that. The rest was a complete distaster the housekeeping total untrained workers the receptionist Ahmed was completely uncompromising Not even a minum level of hearing! Toilet blocked we had to unblock it lazy workers The room smelling of urine as well as the bathroom Cheap bathroom materials Bedrooms are like walking on floating water The bath tab itself is the same The smell of urine is spreaded across the whole room The housekeeping cannot give you extra towels they want tome in rush all Staff has no training at all of respect and a total embarrassment apart from "Elder (Turkish lad)" The worst experience I have come across We ordered food as we were fasting and the receptionist Ahmed couldn't be bothered to tell us and we had a little food hours after!!! The delivery guy waited 35 mins approx for delivery The security is as bad as all Don't out your expectations high on MOVENPICK in JEDDAH it's all packed with untrained staff Toiletries are something they keep saving and don't wish to give!! Is that what we have paid for? Water is complimentary even that was a snatch!!! We asked Ahmed he didn't bother coming to give it!!! Save the merriour I would not recommend this hotel to anyone from my experience!! Be sure while travelling with children!!! Anything said is one thing to the next! Service and room service is one of worst I have ever deal with in addition to staff behavior of customer support totally disrespectful and unprofessional I don’t recommend this hotel to anyone as it won’t be pleasant stay at all

Amazing service
The stay was amazing, I was particularly impressed by Mr. Ender’s hospitality of greeting and helping me during the process of providing me my room. He was kind, very much welcoming and I could see the customer service quality outrightly on him. Great help from the guy!

The bathroom had major water leaks, the toilet seat was all stained in yellow, the room had one very very low yellow light only as if you rented a dungeon! they didn't even bother to look at the room and clean basic things. A very outdated room with chipped wood and trims all around. Can't believe this hotel is Movenpick, its barely a 2 star hotel what a disappointment!
