Got to the hotel at 3 PM to check in and there were 5 or 6 people waiting to check in. There have been more. They said they didn't have any available rooms. I didn't stay and wait but rather booked a room at a hotel a block away. I should get my money back. Don't count on the promised 3 PM check-in time.

I felt very unsafe at that hotel. I felt like with the abdence which it did not feel like a Howard Johnson Brand or even look like it. It felt like a Bate and switch. Way too noisy. People were smoking pot out there and smoking. It's going to my room. People were fighting at 1 am in the morning. I will never ever stay there agaim.

We were in tower 2, which is really dated. Needs renovation, but it was clean and the beds were comfortable. The staff was pleasant. I might try a different hotel if I visit Jacksonville again. Seems there are a lot of options.
